Purchased this vehicle in October. Yes I expect normal wear and tear but this vehicle has 3 oil leaks, a bad catalytic converter (I am and have been breathing in exhaust fumes because there is no exhaust exiting the exhaust due to bad catalytic converter, bad timing, surp and alternator belts, all o2 sensors bad, axle leak. This car should not have been put on the lot. I dont feel safe in it and I fear that I have been damaging myself and my passengers with the fumes. Is there anything I can do? I am unfortunately financing this vehicle and was purchased as is but I feel that the dealer sold me a complete lemon where the repairs will cost more than the sale price. There is no way this vehicle passed inspection and emissions and should not have been put up for sale. I feel that this vehicle is unsafe and life threatening. Vehicle broke down today completely

In response to your letter, Mr. ***** ********************* purchased this vehicle, on October 3, 2022, AS-IS with no warranty, neither expressed or implied.  Mr. ***** ********************* were offered a service contract at time of purchase, which would cover mechanical failure, however, they declined to purchase. The vehicle was used regularly since it was purchased; we dont feel that we have any further obligation, three months after the vehicle purchased.

A week after the car was purchased I had an exhaust leak, they fixed part of it. Now another part of the exhaust broke, honestly it should have just been replaced from the cat and back but I get it why replace a whole part when you can patch it. This time the service team wasn't as accommodating. "Not to be rude did you make an appointment to drop it off?" Fine the person who actually knows how to talk to customers and made my appointment wasn't in. Next I got my unexpected quote of $650 for the repair, I said I couldn't do that, then a different repair for $350 was offered, I said I just wasn't expecting this right now "so you thought this was going to be free?" I explained how I felt it was part of the original issue and I'll just come and get the car" so you're going to just drive around with an exhaust leak? Well I'll talk with the service manager but we do have an over head and our mechanics don't generally work for nothing". Guess I'm just crazy thinking the 15K paid for a 12 year old car would have covered more than a patch job on the exhaust. I had to call the next day to touch base, unfortunately they felt that the original work, although within arms reach from the new break, are two different issues and that it probably broke when I hit something or possibly a speed bump. I don't think the customer is always right but I surely don't remember condescending tone and finger pointing as professional standard but I the purchase was made and a grace window has passed. I went and picked up my car down the street from the dealer at the park and ride, they needed the room for actual customers I suppose, so my car would be fine in an unsupervised public lot. Got some time to get underneath and check out the spray job better, the original repair and the new break. Heat resistant paint would have been a couple bucks more to cover up how bad this thing really looks but now that it's all chipped away you can see it plain as day.

Date of transaction- 12-7-22 Amount paid-$7693 Purchased a ***** *** 2009 over a month ago being a gentleman by paying full price and no negotiation. Since i have purchased it. It has been more with them than with me. Check engine light comes on after 50-60 miles. I take it to them they keep it for 10 days. No one even cares to call and let me know what going on. When i try to reach them most of the time i get placed on hold and the call ends. They change a few parts and get it going. When i go to receive the car the front bumper was lose from top. Now to be noted Kyle is a funny man. He was all good while doing sales and said he will make sure everything is good before he hands over the car to me. But after making full payments he switched completely. I bring the point forward that the front bumper is lose and when i open the hood all the pins to hold it are missing. And when i ask them to fix it he had to audacity to say ive sold you a used car why dont you go buy them and put them in. What if the bumper falls of while im driving. How careless and stingy can you be? Thats what pissed me off. But Cynthia the service manager is nice she tried to help me out a lot. But now after driving another 55 miles check engine light comes on. Tired of all this i purchase my own OBD2 reader and started monitoring it. Turns out to be error code P0128. Engine is not reaching optimum temp in desired amount time. I call them and they said theyve done their best and dont know what to do. Suggested me to take it to another experienced mechanic on my own expense. Eventually i didnt know what to do. So i just took it to the volvo dealership. $195 for diagnosis. They said i will have to spend 2700 for fixing the P0128 error. Radiator fan , radiator module, water pump, thermostat and ECT sensor and few other things need to be changed. Also they said that the windshield is loose. Now i know when im on high speeds i can hear the wind so loud. I wonder how they passed the cars inspection before handing it over to me finally. Plus the volvo dealership gave me another estimate of $10000 for other random things that need to be changed soon. Engine mounts, cracked serpentine belt and the list goes on. I feel like i have been scammed and been sold a car thats worth 2000 for 7500. I think they have been just clearing all the engine error codes before handing me over the car each time i went back to them. Wasted so much of time going back and forth. Spending money on uber going back and forth. Has me go through emotional and mental stress. Finally agreed to upgrade my car but was asking 4000 more where as the difference is only 2200$. Person named Hamid took me into a private office. I have never seen him before! He threatened me by saying no matter what you do youre not getting your money back. Made me feel weak and vulberable. And forced me to sell him the car back for $3000 less. And also said the car wasnt worth 2000 now. And after returning me $4000 he has listed the car for sale for $6900. This business is shady and requires immediate attention. They are just feeding of vulnerable people. He also said im am an illegal immigrant and couldn't take any action against him and i should just leave with the $4000 he is offering me.

Thank you for bringing this customers continued dissatisfaction to our attention.   I can assure you that the alleged allocation regarding our insulting his immigration status was never said or implied.

We work diligently to and take pride in satisfing our customers concerns.  Various repairs were done for ************, free of charge, in an attempt to resolve his concerns.  When it became apparent that we wouldnt be able to satisfy him, we arranged the repurchase of the vehicle.  We issued a check and provided the attached release which the customer signed.

I am rejecting this response because: The business charged me 7663 for the car. And made me go around to different mechanics to get the car fixed. Where as they sold me a bad car. And then blames me for keeping the car for 2 months and putting miles. Plus they they never answer phone calls and i had to wait days so when i get an off i have to go drive to them to express my concern about the crap car they sold me. Then i had to wait in the office for hours seeing them run back and forth. And then come up with resolutions like the value has depreciated to 2000 dollars. Its a total loss for us. What about them wasting my time and money. Then agreeing to buy a car at half the price and listing the same car the next day for sale for 7000 $. This business is full of liars and scammers. They dont respond for days and blame the customer for keeping the broken car for 2 months? They try to delay things so they can play around the books. And in the end scam the customer. If you guys cant find a resolution im gonna take it through social media make sure they pay for the damage they have done to me emotionally and financially. They deserve bad reviews and no customers.

      Regards,

$7900.00 I paid 7200.00  then 700 for the fuel pump which the car was in there shop for . the car is infested with bed bugs I believe and still is a problem. The alarm went off when I hit bumps , in the middle of the bite so they ripped it out and didn't replace it. The gear was stuck in drive and utvwouldng accelerate so they sent it some were to be fixed. I have the car back now and I don't feel safe in it. The lie about everything. They give you there word and don't keep it. They wouldn't give me a receipt they block my number. J put every dime I had to but a car and now I feel its unsafe and has more problems. I want my money back . they are untrustworthy bunch of men who prey on women who don't know much about cars. Do not buy anything from them.

Pro-Sport Motors has went above and beyond for ***************************, she bought a used vehicle which was over 15 years old. We replaced multiple items and removed an AFTERMARKET alarm system for her at no charge. We had the vehicle towed at our own cost because she said it would not move. We had the vehicle towed in and fixed at no charge to her. Later her fuel pump went bad and we replaced that at cost. We did not build the car and have assisted multiple times after the sale of the vehicle free of charge. *************************** has always been very aggressive with all of our employees. We had her sign an agreement that after the fuel pump repair we are not responsible for anymore repairs. She agreed and signed the agreement.
