I self published a book with ********** now called Infinity, I believe not sure. I received a few royalty checks in 2017 but none since. they sold the company and I was able to get a hold of somebody who gave me a sheet that showed how much they owed me for 2 years(2018,2019) currently my book is still selling and I haven't received any royalties. I was able to reach someone there named ** who has pretty much given me the run around. Please help!Initial Complaint

In February of 2022 I entered into an agreement with Infinity Publishing/FastPenci/Opyrus to publish my book A ****** ** ********. I gave them $777,00. The company reps ignored my request for assistance in submitting my information, never replied to emails in a timely manner and totally shut me off since early November. It has been nearly a year now and still NO BOOK. I do not want to agonize any longer. I do not want to do business with them. I want a refund of the money I paid them since they have done nothing to earn it.Initial Complaint

Infinity Publishing will not take any calls or emails, or answer to written letters. They have ghosted me over the years with any royalty payments and I have had people buy books thru ****** to test the system. I self-published with them in 2006 with a book called "*** **** ******" and in the first few years I did receive some statements and checks but for a long time it has been nothing. Every year or so I try to contact them and the same brickwall. I have heard they changed their name to "FastPencil" and the website does show the same business address. I fear they just changed their name to scam royalties.Initial Complaint

I entered publishing agreements with Infinity Publishing in 2008, 2009 and 2010. According to the contracts signed, I am able to terminate their services at any time. In May of 2021, I contacted them to terminate the publishing of all 3 of my books, and I requested they remove them from their system. They assured me the request would be completed within 60 days. I sent the information via USPS to them as requested over the phone. As of December 2021, they continue to print copies and sell them on ******.com. (I have purchased several copies over the past couple of months, and the print dates are all from 2021. This means they were not from ******'s stock, but are being printed by Infinity/Fast Pencil against my wishes.) I have contacted them numerous times, beginning in August 2021, to check on this request. I have received no further communication from Infinity/FastPencil, but they continue to print and sell my books. I reached out to ************ for assistance with this issue, and they suggested I start by filing a complaint with the BBB. Additionally, I have not received a royalty statement from Infinity in several years. When I contacted them originally about the termination of our publishing agreement, they also told me they would provide any outstanding royalties. They have not. At this point in time, I don't care about the royalties. I simply want them to stop printing my books and end the publishing agreement as they assured me would be done in May. I have attached a blank copy of the publishing agreement (that is still available on their website) for your perusal, as well as a copy of the request I mailed to Infinity/Fast Pencil in May. I purchased a book from Infinity Publishing online through their website which I was charged for it and they never delivered the book. I have, in good faith, tried to resolve this issue by calling them several times with no answer other than a recording to leave a message which I have multiple times. I have emailed them in an attempt to resolve the issue with no response. I have mailed them a letter via **** in an attempt to resolve the issue and I have received no response. I have given them advanced notice via email that I would be filing a complaint against them after Oct. 15, 2021, with no response.
