At 5:35am on 05/08/2024 I placed a mobile order using the Dunkin app consisting of a drink and donuts. I used 700 points to get the drink at no cost and the donuts cost $3.99. According to the app $1=12 points meaning I'd spent $58.33 to acquire that many points. That makes the total cost of the transaction $62.32. When I arrived at Dunkin the lights were on and I pulled to the ordering kiosk as usual. I waited five minutes with nobody asking about my order so I pulled ahead to the actual to-go window. Again, I waited for five minutes and it seemed as if nobody was there. I do not know why they would accept mobile orders if nobody is there to make them. I left as I had to get to work without my drink, food, or money. Orders cannot be canceled once they are placed meaning I could not cancel and request a refund. I tried to express this to the virtual Dunkin assistant on the app which only offered me 250 points for the incident. I tried to reach out to customer service but have not heard back about my complaint. I want my money and points back or I would like the monetary equivalent of those points since I did not receive the goods that I had paid for ($3.99 & 700 points or $62.32).
