My ***** self propelled lawn mower and **** ***** tractor were picked up by Paul B Moyer & Son for service. I was told p/u and delivery would cost $75. and I agreed. I called a week later to receive a repair estimate. I was told that the repair had been already done and the charge would be $750. I never received and estimate or agreed to any repair. After speaking to the General Mgr. I was told I had to talk to the owner. I spoke to the owner, *** Moyer and said that I would not pay for any repairs that I did not authorize. I said I would pay $350 for the work that was already done or they could put my tractor back the way it was before the unauthorized repairs took place. *** Moyer said that I would have to pay $750 to receive my property back. He became verbally abusive, cursed at me and hung up.Business response

lawn mower and tractor were both serviced as requested by customer. Tractor was brought in for a tune-up service and complaint that it does not start. Tuning up the mower includes changing the spark plugs, filters, lubing the gears, sharpening the blades and doing an over all check over for the machine. The tractor came to a total of $752.54 (including $100 pick-up/delivery). Customer declined getting the battery replaced. Due to his complaint, we discounted the pricing to $644. 48 including tax. The ***** rotary machine was brought in for the self-propel not working. Customer agreed to have the belt replaced but not the other suggested repair. Customer was not charged for this unit. Customer came in 5/15 and agreed to pay $644.48 and the units are to be returned to customer 5/16. Attached are the invoices as well as the work orders with the mechanics suggested repairs on each.
