George Pudlo, from Pudlo Paving & Concrete, requested our final payment, assuring us of completing the remaining work within a two-day. Regrettably, following receipt of payment, George ceased communication. Over a span of 13 months, we encountered numerous unfulfilled commitments and evasive explanations from George, leading to the incomplete status of our project and substantial damages caused by his crew. The quality of the concrete work was notably deficient, characterized by uneven edges, remnants of large concrete chunks, inadequate stress lines, inconsistent thickness, and premature formation of cracks and puddles within a week of pouring. Furthermore, the crew's disregard left our fencing and yard in disarray, inflicting significant damage to over 200 feet of lawn with deep tractor tire imprints. Their equipment caused irreparable harm to our 8x8 bluestone walkway, while scattered tools, pool covers, and sealants remained strewn across our property throughout the winter and spring, causing detrimental effects on our pool and liner. Notably, the promised installation of cufflinks into the concrete for our pool ladders was never executed. The extent of negligence further extended to damaging our mailbox, pool cover, pool coping, address emblem, and even the underground drainage lines, among other consequential issues. Despite George's repeated assurances of returning to address and resolve these matters, his communication lapses left us waiting on more than a dozen occasions. What initially appeared as a trustworthy engagement unfortunately transformed into a distressing situation for our family. We earnestly hope that George takes steps to rectify his business practices for the benefit of prospective clients and the well-being of our community. No family should endure the distress and upheaval caused by George's actions. We extend our best wishes, aspiring that he learns to uphold his commitments to clients and the community at large.
