My insurance was terminated due to a “license suspension” that never occurred. I’ve sent them documents from Penn Dot proving my innocence and even then for three weeks they refused to reverse the termination. It’s put a strain on my husband working due to not having insurance on our vehicles to get to and from work.Business response

In this situation, my business has followed the guidance and protocols set by State Farm Mutual Auto Insurance's underwriting department and rules. Every correspondence with this prospect has been relaying the decisions, requests, and requirements of State Farm Mutual's auto underwriting department. Throughout this process, we have treated this prospect with respect, patience, and understanding. We explained that we do not make underwriting decisions or rules and only respond with the information State Farm provides us.
Furthermore, State Farm Insurance provided ample notice of underwriting action as usual and followed the rules and procedures it always does. Finally, the complainant bound their coverage online without the assistance of anyone on my team; thus, the subsequent unwriting that occurred was the direct result of their answers and input alone.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
My husband has had issues getting to and from a job that supports and provides for our family due to the negligence of this company (State Farm). How does a company get such information that one’s license is suspended when in fact Penn Dot doesn’t have records of that information? After weeks of proving to this company (State Farm) that my license was in fact NOT suspended, they repeatedly told me I needed to take care of a “ restoration fee” of said license that WASN’T suspended. Now State Farm is telling me I need to pay a huge increased amount to have insurance compared to my last policy. I shouldn’t have to pay a huge amount more than I was paying for an issue that wasn’t my fault.
