I bought a car from Spitzer Honda on October 23, 2021. I was given a temporary car registration that lasted until 1/20/2022. November of 2021 my lienholder tells me they recieve the title application from Spitzer Honda and it was filled out incorrectly. I leave two emails, and two voicemails, about this issue and ask them to forward me the corrected title application so that I may give it to my lienholder. January of 2022 I recieve a letter from my lienholder stating they haven't recieved title documents. I contact the dealership. Leave three messages. Send three emails. Finally speak with ******* on Thursday 1/20/2022 who tells me she'll get with ****** and get this fixed. I finally get through to the state of Pennsylvania on 1/24/2022 who tells me my title documents were only couriered to them on 1/20/2022 and that my registration is expired and I may not operate my new vehicle with registration that I've already paid for. I have left countless voicemails and messages at Spitzer Honda asking the time frame for completion or for another temporary registration. They have offered to give me a loaner vehicle but I do not feel that is an adequate resolution as my new vehicle is all ready paid for. The state of Pennsylvania told me that my title and registration could be expedited but that it needs to come from the car dealership. I have also asked them to do this instead and again, was only offered a loaner vehicle. I feel I was sold this car under false misrepresentation. I was told the paperwork would be handled and everything would be fine. I have had to take time off of work to make numerous phone calls between the dealership and the state. I just want to be able to drive my car that has all ready been bought and paid for.
