I bought a car from Spitzer Honda on October 23, 2021. I was given a temporary car registration that lasted until 1/20/2022. November of 2021 my lienholder tells me they recieve the title application from Spitzer Honda and it was filled out incorrectly. I leave two emails, and two voicemails, about this issue and ask them to forward me the corrected title application so that I may give it to my lienholder. January of 2022 I recieve a letter from my lienholder stating they haven't recieved title documents. I contact the dealership. Leave three messages. Send three emails. Finally speak with ******* on Thursday 1/20/2022 who tells me she'll get with ****** and get this fixed. I finally get through to the state of Pennsylvania on 1/24/2022 who tells me my title documents were only couriered to them on 1/20/2022 and that my registration is expired and I may not operate my new vehicle with registration that I've already paid for. I have left countless voicemails and messages at Spitzer Honda asking the time frame for completion or for another temporary registration. They have offered to give me a loaner vehicle but I do not feel that is an adequate resolution as my new vehicle is all ready paid for. The state of Pennsylvania told me that my title and registration could be expedited but that it needs to come from the car dealership. I have also asked them to do this instead and again, was only offered a loaner vehicle. I feel I was sold this car under false misrepresentation. I was told the paperwork would be handled and everything would be fine. I have had to take time off of work to make numerous phone calls between the dealership and the state. I just want to be able to drive my car that has all ready been bought and paid for.Business response

I write in response to a letter dated February 22, 2022, which addresses concerns submitted to your office by ***** ******* ** ********. In summary, Ms. ******* addresses concerns that she has not received her registration for her
vith the dealership she was unhappy with the responses provided and felt she was not getting results.
Ms. ******* purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V from Spitzer Honda on October 23, 2021. On October 18, 2021 the Honda store was purchased by Spitzer's as part of a buy/sale and the purchase occurred during the activation phase.
In an attempt to resolve her expiring temporary registration concerns Ms ******* spoke with both the Business Office and Accounting Office Managers. She was displeased with the information received from either of these staff. On January 28, 2021, I attempted to speak with Ms. ******* and she refused. On the evening of February 1, 2022, she agreed to speak with me. I apologized for the delays in the registration process. I told her it was our fault for the delay as the acquisition start up team made an error in filing her temporary registration application for her purchased vehicle. The vehicle she purchased was a local trade in which a death certificate was included as one of the joint owners had passed away. When Ms. *******'s application for registration was submitted a staff member included a photo copy of the death certificate instead on the original as required by PennDOTT. I explained that due to Covid and short staffing PennDOTT is doing the best they can, but are running way behind. As a result, it took PennDOTT staff a period of time to review the registration application which resulted in it being rejected and returned to the dealer to obtain an original copy of the death certificate. Once received, the paperwork was corrected and the paperwork was returned. I explained to her that unfortunately the paperwork will go to the bottom of the stack from the date received.
| offered to bring her a dealer vehicle to use which was previously offered to her by her sales consultant until her registration application was completed. I additionally informed
her that I would immediately apply for an extension to her temporary registration. She thanked me for explaining everything and the actions discussed. She declined the offer of us bringing her a vehicle to use during this period.
The application for extension was submitted to PennDOTT on February 2, 2022 and was approved on February 3, 2022. As the customer lives approximately 2 1/2 hours away a FedEx overnight mailer was sent to her on February 4, 2022 containing a document she needed to sign and keep the pink copy and a pre-paid return FedEx mailer. Ms. ******* signed, kept her copy and returned the required document which was faxed to PennDOTT,
Attached are supporting documents to verify the information included in this letter.
o Application for Temporary Registration Extension o Copy of Application for Registration signed by Ms. ******* that includes the
PennDOTT extension approval number written in the upper right hand corner as required.
