11/9/22 company installed rubber roof on roof over my garage (Job 22-1254). 11/14/22 I called to complain about numerous bubbles on the surface and shoddy workmanship especially in corners. I texted multiple pictures and received text that they were received. No one called me back so I called again 11/17/22 - no response. 11/21/22 I called the sales rep. and was told to call the company, as after the sale, he has nothing to do with it. 11/23 I sent more pictures and was told they were received. 12/13/22 I received an invoice. I called again that I was unsatisfied with the work. I was told that the bubbles should dissipate over weather changes and that the company would contact me in the spring. They did contact me 3/21/23 and I told them the roof looked no better than my original complaint. I sent new pictures. Then I received no contact whatsoever. 7/24/23 I finally called them back to give them a courtesy call that I would be contacting the BBB and begin writing negative reviews. 7/25/23 the owner came to look at the work. This is the first time anyone from the company had come to look at the work at all. He said that workers would repair the work within the next two weeks. He "didn't like" the way one of the folds were lifting. I told him it was always that way. The last thing I told him was how important communication was as that there had been none in the past. He agreed. I have not heard from anyone in the company since. I paid $9,575. My concerns have been met with severe lack of response (except for when emailing the bill), sarcasm, excuses about how far away I lived and their busy schedule, and a disregard for the quality of work, as when I told them that it looked worse than my original roof and was NOT $10 work; I was only asked if it worked, as if the look of the roof meant nothing after all that money spent. In response to Ms. ********'s complaint, we have been out to look at her roof & although we agree that this is strictly a cosmetic issue, it was not a priority because the original issue with her roof was leaking into her garage & kitchen. The roof has not leaked since we installed the new rubber roof. She was given a $400. discount for the rubber roof.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

All I want at this point is for Mr. Balzano to keep his word. He said he would call within two weeks and fix the issues we discussed. He has done neither since July, 25th 2023. The flap (picture attached) is more than a cosmetic issue; and he even admitted that it may lead to future leaking problems. His priorities are not my concern, and I would think this could have been resolved within a year on any priority. There is no evidence of a $400 discount. I did not think it would even come to contacting the BBB and could have been resolved with simple communication. Since this simple avenue has not worked, I will file this complaint and will next contact the Courts of Blair County, and/or the PA Attorney General Bureau of Consumer Protection.Regards,

On may 16th, 2023 I discovered the roofing company did not install the venting foam at the edge of the roof they installed. I had to call an exterminator to kill the bees from them not putting the foam under the metal roof. Later that day I called then texted Don the production manager and Mike the sales manager to let them know what was missed with their install. Their reply was they would both investigate and get back to me. On May 17th, 2023 Mike texted me that the crew assaigned to my house did not take 10 rolls of “ultra-vent foam” to the job site. Don was scheduling his crew to come back and make the necessary repair using the foam. Don also texted me the owner would be inspecting the job on May 19th, 2023. He did not show (was in Erie Pa. Acording to Don). May 19th 2023 the two crew (supervisor Dave) came to the house. Dave told me the top of the roof had foam installed already. I let him know the top part was not installed with the foam. Dave said his crew would have to come back to finish the top, but would finish the bottom section this day. I watched them correct the roof above my porch, but then left for work. Later that evening I texted Don if all the repairs were 100% completed including my upper roof. Don texted me that Dave said the work was all completed. May 20th, 2023 I climbed on my ladder to inspect the top of my roof. The foam was not installed as promised. I immediately called and texted Don and Mike. Don called back and said he was sorry and does’nt know what is going on with David. Don said he was sorry and understood i spent $22,000 and wanted the job done corect. Don then said he could come over with his best roofer Dylan Sunday May 21st. Don said they would be there around 9:30 am to 10am but never showed up. I texted Don and asked why they did’nt come. Don told me in text that Dylan’s wife kicked him out of the house and he could’nt make this stuff up. He said this upcoming week is going to be nice and will do the job then.Business response

We currently have a different crew there working on Mr, ******'s roof today to resolve these issues. The original Crew were sent to resolve this and did not complete to my satisfaction nor the customers. We are sending a totally different crew with the understanding that they are not to leave the project until Mr. ****** is satisfied and happy with his new roof.Customer response
