      This place is not what they appear to be. It’s not for the gay community. It’s built to make you bleed money. Nothing is like it used to be here. The rooms are run down and the prices are 3x what they used to be. My chief complaint with this “resort” is that they emailed me (see email attached) an alleged “thank you for being faithful to us” email with a certificate of a free 1 night stay. The email is clear and succinct. It states that the offer does not expire and thats it. Today I called in to see if I could actually cash in on this offer. Seemed to good to be true. I made 2 calls and both times I spoke with ***, Who confirmed I could use the coupon AND she put me on hold after telling me she would confirm with her manager.she came back and said yes you can have the king room for 4 people on Sunday July 16 and check out next day. I told her I would call her right back after confirming with the others and purchasing the flight to ensure I could get it since I’m coming from LA. She said great. I asked her if she could hold the king room while I got back to her she said yes. I called back in to book the room and spoke with a man who said he can not honor the coupon. I asked him why and he said it’s only valid in 2022. I said the email states no expiration and again he said there’s nothing he could do. Then he said actually it’s only valid mon-thur. And again I told him that’s not stipulated anywhere in the email. I asked to speak with *** on several occasions and he continuously refused to let me speak to her. He told me there is nothing he could do to honor that email even tho I already bought my flight. This is Rainbow Mountain at its Core. Greedy and deceptive. I Can not believe that within 20 min the yes yes yes turned to “I’m sorry we can’t honor that”

      I checked into this resort on December 31, 2021, New Years Eve. Upon check in at 4:00pm, EST my room was not ready until 5:00pm, EST, but was given the hotel key by the Front Desk Agent. I drove up to the room and saw two housemen still cleaning and mopping the room. About 30 minutes later the houseman then left the room and said I was good to enter. Upon entering, the floor was still very wet and the room had an extremely strong odor of chemical bleach. While loading my luggage into the room, I noticed the room had remaining garbage left behind and the fridge was fully stocked of old takeout food and soda drinks. I proceeded to give the room an opportunity by ventilating the room of the strong toxic smell by turning on the AC unit, which was not functioning. I then attempted to open the front door for ventilation, in the heighten of winter, but realized it was a safety issue, since there were no lighting on the outside door of our room, as I only saw pure darkness facing the woods. A few minutes later we then opened the window and all we could smell were pure chemical bleach air returning from the window. It was as if someone may have dumped that mopped up bleach water out the window. The room began to get cold and the chemical smell still remained. I then began to get a headache, felt dizzy and very ill and so did my husband. We were in that room for about 2 hours and I realized this was a safety concern for me and my spouse and if we felt this sick what would happen if we had fallen asleep, as it may have led to a bigger catastrophe. I then made the decision to check out immediately, while also leaving with damage to our clothing from the chemical bleach used. I have reported these issues to front desk and they never offered a follow up to remedy the situation. The toxic odor and chemicals used was totally unacceptable and carless on their behalf for lack of training for staff. This is a major safety issue for their guest and they continue to ignore it.

      I'm submitting this claim because after one month of trying to reach the hotel rainbow mountain resorts in thePoconos. They have avoided every way of contacting me and have refused to refund me my money back. spent. I made a reservation through ****** an app for cheaper hotels. For a room 12/31/2021- 1/2/22went to rainbow Mountain and was confronted with the worst hotel experience in my life. We checked in at 4 o'clock they told us that the room would not be ready that its almost done. So we drove around and came back two hours later. Aww went to the room which was located in a dark drive the building had no lighting outside. We open the door and the room was never cleaned. The bed slept in there was garbage on the floor there was feces in the toilet towels in the bathroom. dirt all over. I called them from the location of the room which looks like it was a shed. I called and they said they would have someone come I waited almost another hour for someone to come and clean the room. I did not leave that same night because I had just drove three hours my dog from Long Island and there was no other place that i could go. They cleaned it by the time they were done it was 7 o'clock. The smell of bleach was un breathable had to stay in my car with the dog for another 20 min. I asked if I can get a new comforter. They weren't even gonna change it. They never came back to bring a new comforter. The put one sheet in the bed and two pillow cases. Not even a fitted sheet. I had to sleep with my coat and a towel. The bathroom leak through the night, from the sink and the toilet there was water all over the bathroom every time you walked into it. There was mold in the bathroom as well. The smell was just horrible. And it just felt dirty there was ****** on the walls and on the couch. This place was so horrible. Couldn't sleep at all. Had to wait till 9am to leave leave and when I did they would not refund me. Stated it would take a week. They refuse to give me anything not

      I booked a room in this resort, which advertised itself completely different than in reality. The room was filthy, and for very obvious reasons, looked like it had not been cleaned. There are thick spider webs everywhere - most notably under the bed, so spiders were crawling all over the bed. The worst part was the heat was not working, and we were not getting any responses from the host. I actually spent half the night in my car to stay warm. The bed did not have a fitted sheet and the mattress was filthy, which very questionable stains all over it. With no fitted sheet, there was nothing to lay on top of, except for the only blanket there. There was absolutely no wifi - and that was something advertised and not delivered. The host maintains to not be heard from. They are not answering me at all.
