Last January I had the fire and it was handled through the insurance and I got the money for getting a contractor a friend of mine referred me to Steve Meyer's carpentry as a contractor he came and didn't an evaluation and I paid him the money 2000 by 2000 by 1000 by 1000 by 1000 and he got about 8000 for me and we almost had another deal and he said that hes sick after doing some little stuff in the house and after that he came while we are not there and took his equipments and left the job unfinished IA job unfinished I tried contacting him he blocked my number I call him from work he answers and when I told him that I will file a complaint he said do what you have to do I checked out already that his competition is terrible I either need my money or him to send somebody to finish the job I had to go home to the house while being unfinished because he stated to the insurance that everything should be done by June which never happened and I have Without a finished pattern and an isolation even the tiles even placing the new toilet it was all a mess since June I'm trying to find people bits and pieces but I'm paying again out of pocket... I think hes taking advantage of me because I'm a single mom with 3 kids and that's not fair and everybody I asked they should I report him or go to small court cases whatever you guys tell me to do I will do I have my bank statement for him taking the checks I have papers written from him about what he needs to be done and I also have pictures some pictures of the unfinished jobs and I also do have the statement that he submitted to the insurance saying that everything would be done by the beginning 1st week of June.... I'm sorry I need help so please try to contact me or tell me what the steps that I need to do
