Allied ashplat paved our driveway last fall, after about three weeks the driveway began to sink. Over the course of the winter and spring months it only got worse. The owner, **** came out and said that they would warranty the driveway. They came out torn up half the driveway and left give no indication when we would finish the job We were quote and paid for ($11750) for the old driveway to be torn out, new stone put in and 3" of new blacktop put in. There was no new stone and only 1.5 inch of black top originally put in.I have tried calling and reach for over 2 weeks and no answer. I ultimately paid someone else to reinstalled the stone. When I reached out to get an approx date for repaving.....I get no answer. Allied has a warranty that was not honored as well as the job wasn't done to the specs that were stated. We just want our driveway fixed/repaired

As of right now everything was handle. Speaking with **** - he had mentioned that the driveway would be repaved, which it was and sealed per our conversation. WIth the being said - it appears that there are areas that are less than the 2.5" of asphalt that was quoted per original quote. Also when **** came out to seal coated the old portion there were areas of the driveway that were begin to sink (driveway was repaved +/- 3-4 weeks)  See pictures attached.

Speaking again with **** - he said that he would be back out of repave everything in the springtime of 2024

At this point everything has been handle enough to remove the complaint. If the repaving in spring of 2024 doesn't happen than a complaint will be submitted again

      Thanks

I received and approved $2200 estimate for driveway project. When the project was completed the owner offered a $500 warranty. I asked if he would send the warranty documentation. Twice I notified by email and once by text that the warranty documentation was not received. The owner called me and said he would personally deliver it on Saturday, May 14, 2022. I sent a certified letter including a certified return envelope addressed to me for the warranty documentation. The certified letter sent to Allied Asphalt was signed for on May 12th. There is no record the post office received the certified envelope addressed to me. I have not received the warranty documentation and want $500 refunded to me.
