On Mon, November 7, 2022 I contacted this company because my ******* dryer was not drying my clothes and it was constantly running. In order to stop the dryer it would have to be unplugged or open the door. All this information was provided prior to them coming out. I was charged a $69.99 non refundable service fee for them to come out to my home and tell me that I needed to replace the main board and it would take 3-4 weeks for the part to arrive. Had I been informed on the phone that there was a possibility parts may take up to 3-4 weeks I would have called another company. Then they want to charge $445 for parts and labor and only provide a thirty day warranty, this is definitely unacceptable. I'm also told that I have 30 days to decide whether or not I want to move forward with the repair but the guy who come out never wrote on the paperwork what model dryer I have .Initial Complaint

On September 4th, I paid this company $290 for a refrigerator water line repair which was fixed in 2 seconds by adding an elbow to seal the cracked line. Yesterday, I noticed my basement ceiling was leaking in the same spot as before and so I called back the appliance company to check my fridge again for a similar leak. The new technician was unable to pull out my fridge from the cabinet but checked the front of my fridge and was confident that the leak (running water) in the basement was not from the fridge but a broken water line in the subfloor. He suggested I call a plumber. When the plumber came- he was able to pull the fridge and discovered the issue was the same as the initial problem back in September. The elbow placed by Appliance repairmen was not sufficient and had the technician this morning pulled the fridge this morning as instructed, he would have been able to replace the part still under 60 day warranty. Since I already called the plumber as instructed by the appliance technician I had no choice but to have him fix the issue. He actually charged less at $166.27 and that includes a run to ********** for the part. There has been an enormous amount of damage from this one broken plastic tube and I could not wait longer to call the appliance person back plus the plumber would have expected a fee for coming out too. Thus, I would like a refund for the original charge of $290 on September 4th since 1. It was not fixed properly and 2. Clearly overcharged.
