      this "repairman" entered my home without announcing himself. i had been waiting all day for him to come and do a "quick repair"- was never given a window of time to expect him and at 7pm got a text from his assistant asking if he could come by since it should just be a "quick repair". i left my garage door open and went upstairs to wait. i got caught up watching tv when i realized he'd arrived and just allowed himself into my basement. neither my 18 year old son, my dog or myself even heard him come in. after almost an hour he announced that there was a new issue that he had not assessed at the initial diagnosis and this would require another part and more time. i informed him i needed to leave as i had somewhere to be. he questioned me on this despite the fact that it was now 8:30pm. after adding this second part he *still* could not get the dryer working and it was now 9pm. i again informed him that i need to leave and he needed to wrap it up. he informed me i could go and leave him in my home at which point i told him he needed to get out. the next day i received a text that he had allegedly left parts in my dryer and wanted them back. i informed his assistant and himself that he was never welcome back on my property after the incompetence and lack of professionalism and lack of regard for my safety and boundaries that he'd demonstrated. i then hired a competent repairmen to come and assess the situation and he informed me that the dryer had been completely misdiagnosed and it was likely my washing machine had also been misdiagnosed and replaced without need. it was this second repairman that brought my attention to this company's poor BBB rating and the possibility that many of his positive reviews online were fraudulent. when i read the 1 star reviews online i realized many other customers have had similar horrible experiences.

      on June 16th we had A High Tech come out to repair our Kenmore refrigerator. The repair man told up that it would need to have the compressor replaced. The cost would be $985.00. When we asked him if it was worth doing this as the last compressor failed after 4 years he said yes the new one he is going to install is better and should last much longer. What he did not tell us is that the compressor was under warranty for 10 years from Kenmore. We paid the $985.00 and had the compressor repaired, when I asked him about the warranty he said he would split up the bill and I could just turn it into Sears and they should send me a refund. He leaves and i contact Sears Kenmore about the warranty. The information he gave me was not correct. Sears has to come out and complete the repair for the warranty to be applied. The next day we were ready to start to place food in the refrigerator and it was warm. It only cooled to 44 degrease. We placed water bottles in the frig and went shopping for groceries. When we returned the frig was 57 degrees. I called A tech to come back out but all I received was empty promises from Vicky saying that she would reach out to the repair gut and call me back. 7 calls over the next week and 7 times she said i will call you back and she never did. The frig at this point has never seen a temperature below 39 degrease. Most of the day the frig is somewhere between 43 and 54 degrees. We finally get a hold of Vicki again to have the service man come back out to tell us that the frig is working fine and he did not know why it will not hold temperature. Now we are at July 4th with no resolution and we are out $985.00. I have called several times asking for resolution or a refund but Vicki just says she will have to call you back. Now she no longer answers to my phone number. I have to call from another number to get them to answer the phone. I would like a refund and have then come take their compressor back since it did not fix the issue.

      On September 1, 2022 we called a high-tech appliance refrigeration to look at our fridge raider and find a problem why it’s not cooling they sent out a technician named Bobby. He diagnose the problem and said the compressor needed replace he would have to flush out the system, and then recharge the Freon, he guarantee that this was the problem and It was nothing else. one year guarantee on the work performed. He came out on September 7, 2022 and he replaced the compressor. We paid him $895. on September 9 refrigerator quit working completely. The freezer never got cold fridge raider side stopped working. Also we called a high tech company and told the secretary Vicky that the fridge quit working. And it didn’t fix the problem. from that time on we called numerous times and got no response back from the company or the technician or the secretary. We have been without a working fridge since September 9, 2022. It’s now October 1, 2022 the tech or secretary have never called us back. All I get is from the secretary she left him a message they have not tried to resolve the problem at all.
