On December 13th 2022, I paid $565 to U - Gro. The registration fee was $190 and I also had to pay for the first week of tuition which was $375. I had secured a spot for full time daycare for my son. When circumstances changed, I emailed ***************************** on Dec 30th letting her know my situation has changed and we would no longer need daycare. I had requested to get the $565 that I had paid, to be refunded. ****** had said it was non refundable. I was not aware this was not refundable. I had not signed any documentation stating I would not be refunded the money. I had given plenty of notice since care was not to start until February 6th 2023. After looking up the documentation myself on the website, it did state the registration fee was non refundable. However, it didnt mention anything about the first weeks care included in the deposit. I did bring this to ******* attention. And her response was it was not refundable.
