I visited Aspen Dental Associates of NEPA PLLC located in Ephrata Pennsylvania, to deal with tooth pain. My first and only visit was on (1/19/2022), and I had all the usual necessary xrays to see what's happening, and than they guided me to an office so that they can discuss payment options available. They explained what procedures i need, and that it is recommended I get a gingivitis cleaning. I agreed to a gingivitis cleaning the same day. After they explained that I need about $20K worth of work done in my mouth, I was shocked. I kept trying to politely back out of everything, because I can't afford $20K worth of Dental work that they recommend, but after speaking with them I went ahead and opened the credit card with them and was approved for about $16,900.00. A day or so later I decided to create an account with the Dental First credit card that Aspen had me open up, so that I can pay my what I thought would be a bill of only $372.00, because of the 1 visit I had with Aspen. What I saw in my account was a balance of $13,509.90. I was very shocked, and confused because I didn't even get the procedure they wanted me to do yet. I immediately canceled future appointments with them. After looking in my Dental First account again the next day. I could see that Aspen charged the credit card twice for $6754.95 which is why I had a balance of $13,509.90 in my account. I immediately called Aspen. They refunded only $6382.95, and refuse to refund anymore because they refuse to acknowledge that they double charged the Dental First (a.k.a comenity) credit card. Now I have a balance of $7126.95. I should only owe $372.00. I have a reciept of the work I had done. I called multiple times both Aspen Dental and The Dental First credit customer service and both keep pointing the finger to eachother and tell me it's not their problem. Aspen owes the Dental First credit card $6,754.95. I am not paying for $7126.95 of work I didn't have done. I should only owe the credit $372.00.Business response
