Complete restoration will not Come to a resolution for some of the things that they did wrong they installed duct work In my basement and when they were finished the ductwork that they installed was one and a half inches lower than the existing duck work so when I had a contractor come in to replace the ceiling I had to pay them extra for lowering the headers so they could install the new ceiling which caused a $350 difference in the price and they will not deduct that from their bill they’re telling me to go back to my insurance company for my out-of-pocket expense. They also Want me to pay four things that wasn't completed properly they said they cleaned my duct work I have attached pictures on how it looked when it was completed also all ductwork was replaced the very next day so why was the cleaning necessary. thank you please help.************

      Good Afternoon *******,

Compleat Restorations and ********************* came to a resolution that Compleat would credit ************** the $350 for his additional repairs even though ************** should have receive those funds from insurance as a Supplemental for the additional repairs due to Replacement of HVAC.

Everything that was estimated to ************** by Compleat was approved by *************'s insurance carrier as Compleat was in constant communicating with ***************'s adjuster.  ************** complained about the air quality and they could become ill from compromised HVAC system from their supply line leak loss.  The adjuster approved Compleat to do a Duct Cleaning ASAP even though the HVAC was being replaced.

This came from ****************** adjuster to do the Duct Cleaning from his concerns due to health.  ****** insurance paid for the ****************** Duct Cleaning.  Compleat was able to get an HVAC contractor out to ************** to replace the HVAC system quicker than anticipated, so the time between the Duct Cleaning and replacement of the HVAC system was quick.

I am not sure what ************** is looking for Compleat to do at this point.  We completed the Emergency and Mitigation services which the insurance carrier paid ************** in full.  Any Credits that would be agreed to would need to be paid back to the ****************** carrier not **************.

      Regards,

      Dear **************,

The Mitigation was done per the ***** standards for a Water Loss.  If we did not follow the ***** standards, your insurance carrier/agent would not have approved all the work requested and estimated by Compleat Restorations.

Compleat already resolved your request to pay for the framing with the new HVAC system which should have been included in your Repairs which Compleat Restorations did not contract with you for.

****************'s account is paid in full less the agreed upon credit.

************** wanted the Mitigation done to how he wanted, but Mitigation is done per the ***** guidelines.

Water mitigation refers to the process of properly cleaning, sanitizing, drying, repairing, and restoring a property to its pre-water damage condition.  Every property and water damage situation is unique, requiring an individualized plan of action to complete the mitigation process.

      Regards,

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: they stated that i had a leak in my ac evaporator which caused the mold in the ac system which was a false statement, the mold that was the direct result from them failure to mitigate in a timely manor which could have over time resulting in severe health issues if i did not take the matter in my own hands and called my insurance company to have them come back and reinspect the system they never even looked inside the duct work. i had to do that myself I am a senior citizen and for company to to come out to my home and lie to you on the phone and threaten you like i was a criminal is very unprofessional it was my insurance company and they paid me the policyholder for damages this ***** ******** should be fired for things they say to people. i may still seek restitution on these charges they said they did. i will never recommend compleat restorations for any work

      Regards,
