On 11/18/2021 I signed a contract to have a tub,tub surround and fixtures installed at my residents, **** ******* **** Around the 2/1/2022, I called bathfitters to let them know I may need to stay with the shower stall due to my disabled mother in law may me moving in with us but I would need a few weeks to decide, at which point they said ok. Then on 02/21/2022 I called bath fitters to cancel the bathroom install all together because we decided to move, we were selling our home at **** ******* ***. And would no longer need their services. They wanted us to pay for it anyway and finally decided to just keep our $500. Deposit, which is what the contract said they could do if we cancel after the cancellation period. Full payment was due upon completion of the job. Bathfitters called me on 03/02/2022 to inform me that wells Fargo, the financial institution that would finance the transaction, said I would have to pay for the materials and that they would be delivering it to us. I told them we did not want it and I called wells Fargo and they are disputing the charges.***** ********** in excess of $4200.Business response

Our customer is in a contract with us. Upon her canceling the scheduled install, we contacted Wells Fargo. They told us we were within our rights to charge her for the cost of the custom made materials. We tried to deliver the materials to the customer and she refused to accept them.
There is nothing charged to her Wells Fargo account at this time.
