This company was hired to do work in the retention pond area the contract States remove final 1/3 overgrowth from retention pond area ,cut few stragglers left over from last year brush hog areas that are dry enough ,last year they cut and removed everything they cut ,but stopped short of completing the job they bid on ,because they decided that they did not bid the job correctly ,and they were not going to continue any further, this year they came and bid the job The remainder of the job in the pond that they did not complete the year before ,and once again they complained that they did not bid the job correctly ,and was not going to remove the remaining materials that they cut and left . It should be noted in the prior year they cut and removed everything that they worked on . this year they removed some of it but left a considerable amount of chipping from the wood chipper and piles laying throughout the pond area ,upon inspection by an engineer to complete a township evaluation the engineer noted that these droppings were not acceptable, when I contacted the business they told me that they would remove the remaining chippings for cost .when I questioned them on that they said their work does not include removing their chippings ,even though they have done it in the past and also partly did it wile doing this job ,they remove the wood that they cut and they also removed a truckload of chippings but failed to finish the job . They told me that they were not going to do it for free ,and if I wanted to I could get a lawyer and sue them ,but that was their policy. at that I said I would probably not be using them again and they said we don’t want to work in that area for you again I do not feel this is the way you treat customers particularly when I spend thousands of dollars with this company representing our HOA
