-12/23/2021 Auto Glass Fitters came to replace my entire windshield on my 2018 ***** *** $335. On January 22, 2022 I noticed my windshield was completely frozen from the inside of the vehicle. I called and they sent a tech out on 1/25/2022. Tech assured me the windshield was sealed, but if it were to ice over again, they would come out and replace it. On 1/26/2022 the windshield was yet again completely iced over inside of the car. I called and spoke with Violet the manager. She refused to send a tech out to replace the windshield and told me to just deal with it. I reported the issue exactly 29 days from installation. Per their warranty: What is Covered: Any manufacturers defect in the glass or any leaking or other defect related to the installation of stationary glass parts. For how long: For one year from date of installation Auto Glass Fitters will: Repair the defect or replace and reinstall the stationary glass part at no cost to you. What is not Covered: Any leakage or stress cracks caused by pre-existing rust, structural damage, or other damage caused by vandalism, or impact with foreign objects. Defects in material or workmanship should be be reported within 30 days after installation. This is completely unacceptable and they need to abide by their warranty written on their website.
