Owner Steve L**** and son Brian promised that the doors would be trimmed and adjusted for the height of the new carpet installed by their professional installer. Installer came without tools and left two closet doors and main entry door without trimming or adjusting them and left them leaning against the wall. When we contacted the owner Steve L****, he refused to take responsibility. He said his son was new and should not have promised us that the doors would be adjusted by their installer. However, not only did the son Brian promise that they would adjust the doors , so did the owner when we asked if they would prior to our purchase. We bought a high quality carpet for $1,150 and the job as promised was not complete. When we complained and asked for them to correct the discrepancy in the service they had promised us, he said they had plenty of other customers and if we didn’t like his service we could go elsewhere in the future.Business response

This customer is lying we never said we would cut down doors or trim doors
(This is absurd nonsense!)
Sorry we do not cut doors down. We were hired to install carpet. If we install carpet and the doors don't fit customer is responsible. Noting on are invoice that says we will cut his doors down! No carpet and flooring company cuts doors down! Not in our job description!
(He needs to hire a contractor or handyman) (I have a contractor friend that will do it but now I will not go forth with it He does small job like this)
