*** installed flooring for us when we replaced our plumbing. Our plumbing is located on top of our slab foundation under the subfloors. He cut access in the subfloors for the plumber and then didnt sand the seam before laying vinyl planks overtop. (see photos)This caused the subfloors to cut into the planks above separating the top vinyl layer from the bottom core layer thus destroying the flooring.We made a video and showed *** what was going on. He came and pulled up the flooring in that area in order to sand the subfloor. He then relaid the floor reusing the planks.A few months later the floor starting floating apart (possibly due to the click and lock portion being broken when he pulled up to sand subfloors?)When we told him this we were ignored for a very long time. Months turned into years.The subfloor began trapping dirt and debris which caused the dogs to start marking and having urine get trapped under the flooring making a bad situation worse. Id clean the best I could but there were gaps ALL over ( see photos) . The floor was literally falling apart everywhere.After sharing all of the time stamped photos and videos that weve taken throughout this ordeal *** finally verbally agreed to come make it right.He did not make it right; instead he cut yet another corner and cut our floor.Now we have a transition strip between our semi-open dining room and kitchen even though the floor is the same. He gave us the ultimatum that we could get the transition strip or they were going to walk out leaving the subfloors exposed and the floor in shambles. (see photos)Now we will get a quote elsewhere in order to restore the floor to its original state. *** was dishonest, unreliable, and unprofessional. Consumer beware.
