      I need help. Since Nov 23 have been trying to remove my PMI. I paid the $150 fee for the appraisal, had appraisal completed in Feb 24. It was well below the 20% I need to have it removed. I have spoken to so many people in customer service for months and months, sent letter and still nothing. What do I do?? I have been lied to for months and I need help for removal. ******************

      If I could do negative five I definitely would. I've been trying to assume my mother's loan after she passed away with no results. Every time I call which I'm usually on hold for at least 3 to 4 hours I get the same answer. We don't know anything about this we never received any paperwork on this we don't know what to tell you but good luck. I have three different times sent all the proper paperwork they asked me to and then when I called to check up I get the same answer sorry sir we did not receive anything please try again. They don't seem to know what the h*** is going on they don't know where they're at or what they're doing. I'm getting threatening letters from them in the mail because they want me to insure the house but the house is still in my mom's name but they will not allow me to assume the loan so I can't get insurance in my name. I believe this is some sort of a scam to try to take my house or to charge me a buttload of money for their crappy insurance. I have emailed them over and over again with all the proper paperwork I have called over and over again and all I get is sorry sir we don't know anything about nothing. In my ******************************************************************************************************** my lifetime. If you read this and you're thinking about them supplying you a mortgage please do yourself the biggest favor in the world and run run and never look back at this company for anything. I got a hold of a lawyer and we're going to go that route because I am done messing with them. I have seen dozens and dozens of lawsuits on ****** and I understand exactly why and my name might be next on the list.

      What a terrible company. All I want to know is why you have raise my mortgage payment AGAIN, in less than a year!!!! I have been trying to talk to person for over 15 mins. I got a hold of a person's she was rude, asked me all the security questions after I already typed them in to the phone system and she asked me more questions, then hung up on me. What a waste of time and I still don't have an answer. God I wish you never bought my loan. If you are able run away from this company quick and fast. Horrible customer service. It is almost impossible to get answers from this company.

      Reading several complaints and I could relate to MOST of the complaints filed. Relate on the one where I didn't have a choice to be transferred to them, I just was. My biggest issue right now, I have been making attempts to pay my mortgage payment and I'm unable to. I made attempts to contact EVERY number that they provide on their website and I'm not able to get through. I've made attempts to email with no response from ANYONE from the company. Made attempts to pay on line, with no luck, won't let me in. Do they not want my money or not!? My peers say, "Get a VA loan." It's been a nightmare since these guys took over.

      I had a frustrating customer service experience regarding confusion over my mortgage payment and lender details. Initially told to make my first mortgage payment to my current lender, I was later informed that the loan had been sold and my payment was due to a new company, Newrez, on September 1st. Despite proactive attempts to clarify the situation, I encountered dropped calls without callbacks, rude customer service representatives who accused me of lying about a letter that had correct but supposedly outdated information, and conflicting statements about mailing addresses and the receipt of a Welcome Package which I never received. There was also confusion when a representative mentioned "Shellpoint," a entity I was unfamiliar with. The poor handling of the situation, including a lack of follow-up and empathy towards my concerns, as someone who previously worked for the BBB this left me feeling scammed and extremely dissatisfied.

      I'm not happy with this company AT ALL! They took over my home loan and I haven't been able to access my accounts. I researched the company and saw they push racist ideologies as a standard part of their practices. I've tried several times and reset my password, and then called in. After going through about 10 prompts I finally got through and was on hold for 5 minutes before the person came to the line. He kept asking me to verify my information, which i did twice. I'm not sure if he didn't hear me or he didn't understand English very well (I'm only guessing since he had a thick accent). He would not move forward with helping me unless I kept repeating myself. I got so frustrated that I got off the phone. I am currently looking for another company to take over my loan.

      Worst mortgage provider and scam company.On 06/05/2024, I submitted a request to my mortgage loan provider, Newrez, for a forbearance on my loan due to a short-term loss of income and to complete process for my PMI to be remove from my mortgage which I was working with my previous provider before Newrez bought my loan. On 6/21/2024, I received a call from Newrez, *****************************. He called to let me know they receive my paperwork for forbearance and that he was going to finalize the process. He went over that I was approved for my forbearance due to loss of income and that my PMI would be removed starting in July. On 7/23/2024 I received a notice from Newrez that my mortgage was in default and 60 days late. I called ***************************** and left a voicemail on 7/25/2024. I didn't receive a call back so I called again on 7/29/2024 and left a voicemail. I didn't receive a call back so I called the general line to Newrez to ask about the status of my loan. I spoke to a representative that told me it doesn't look like forbearance was approved and ***************************** would call me back at 9am on 8/1/2024. On 8/1/2024 at 8:26am, I received a call from ***************************** and spoke to her for 24min. She made me aware that ******, mistakenly put my status as no longer needing forbearance so that is why I was receiving letters. ****** resubmitted forbearance paperwork and let me know I would pay my next payment on 9/1/2024 and the money owed would be put on the back end of my loan. Additionally, they don't see my payments for *** and June that I made. *** was paid on *** 6th according to my bank records at Discover and **** was paid on June 13th according to my bank records at Discover. My current status is Newrez at reported my payment history to credit bureaus as 90 days late, they're claiming they didn't receive 2 of my payments that show under my bank activity, and my PMI still isn't removed, and they're not submitting the forbearance paperwork they approved.

      HORRIBLE company and customer service. When I made an additional principal payment on my loan they withdrew the money from my bank account but never posted it to my loan...in essence they STOLE my additional principal payment

      I don't understand why they claim every year I owe them a larger balance in escrow when they charge me about two hundred more than my ***************** require. I've never had this problem with other banks or mortgage companies.

      If I could give this company no stars I would. It's been nothing but frustration ever since my loan was sold off to this company. You can never reach a person that can help when you call in and they make it extremely difficult to solve anything in one phone call. They are regularly upping our payment and then can't explain why and when you ask specific questions they are indirect with any explanation. NEVER choose this company.... we were referred by our realtor and we should have done more research. At that time they were caliber home loans.... then we were sold into this mess.
