I hired ACW to parge 2 concrete block entry walls and a pizza oven block base. I paid $1,175.00 in full when they completed the work. They completed the work in April 2021. In December 2021 I saw the parge on the walls had major cracking, then in January 2022 the cement parge was falling off in sheets. Today much of the parge has separated from the concrete block wall or has completely fallen off the walls and the pizza oven parge is cracked the entire way around the base. It has obviously been applied incorrectly. I first contacted Bill at ACW 2/2/2022 and told him the issue. Bill was receptive and said he would look at it. After not hearing from him I followed up again leaving messages and talking to Bill directly. Over the next few months I would call and generally Bill would say "I'll be there this week or next". But he never showed up. Finally on 7/8/22 I called after yet another no-show and Bill's cell phone mailbox was full. I then texted him asking for him to call me and as of today I have not heard back. I have no other recourse than to start to esculate the issue. I talked to Bill or left him a message 11 times over the last 5 and half months and he never once came to repaire or even look at the problem. (I have documented each call). I have been extremely patient and nice to Bill, but my walls are falling apart and look terrible. It has become apparent that Bill has no intention of ever showing up to repair his work. I believe at this point I will need to hire a different company to repair ACW's work. I would like a refund for the parging of the walls and the parging of the pizza oven - $925.00 I have attached pictures, the proposal, and the log of calls to Bill.
