I requested two times full disclosure about what happened to our Supergrit.com account user data, after these data were not being securely migrated to their new sales platforn/on-line shop from the old one. I reached out twice to the CEO of the company and did not receive any response after nearly 4 weeks from my first inquiry. On the contrary, the first request was boldly deleted without being read, the second inquiry from over 3 weeks ago is ignored and still not answered. These are severe safety concerns about ithe safety of my identity and user data, which, by law, have to be handled and kept secure. That the request is not addressed shows even more that *** **** ****/Supergrit Abrasives takes this matter of user data handling and security not only negligently lightly, but also is not compliant with legal standards!Business response

Dear *** *******,
We attach copies of two orders which ****** ********* placed with us in October 2020. Apparently he was pleased with what he received, or he would not have wanted to place another order in August of this year.
We built a new website on a very secure platform called ****, which is compliant with all requirements. Apparently, *** ********* doesn't want to input his name, address, and telephone or email address onto our new website. We do not understand why. We have about 40,000 happy customers and have been in business for 44 years.

We contacted **** **** company which used to host our old website. We asked what happened to the old website and all the data it contained.
They responded that after *** **** ****. transitioned to the new website hosted on the **** platform, the old web site was totally deleted after 30 days.
THERE IS NO DATA REMAINING FROM THE OLD WEB SITE.
We hope that this satisfies ** *********, that his privacy has never been compromised.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is not very satisfactory to me. But with the lenghtly discussion over a time span of meanwhile over 4 months and the final bare minimum response of information, that no personal data are remaining of the old market system, let us close the case.The overall summary about how and with what kind of attitude *** **** **** is responding to an extremely sensitive complaint still remains very negligent and unsatisfactory and will most definetely influence our decision of making business with them in future.
