Heads up if you're considering buying a Nissan. I have a 2013 ******, the rirght rear control arm for which completely broke free from the frame WHILE I WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY. The day before, I had been on Route 78 near ********* driving next to dozens of semis. It's scary to think what would have happened if it had snapped off then. Now my transmission has failed and needs to be completely replaced with just 110,000 miles on the odometer! The price to fix a CVT transmission is astronomical, so I asked if they could buy the car back from me considering that they can fix it and sell it (used cars are in short supply so this model is fetching as much as $12,000. Unfortunately, Concordville Nissan offered me an insulting $500 to buy the car back even though CVT transmissions on these cars have been notoriously poorly built and are the subject of countless lawsuits?? Better to steer clear of Nissan ??

I purchased my vehicle. in 6/23/21 from Concord Ville Nissan. I was given the temporary registration. It did not include the title number. I have reached out to the dealership on numerous occasions and have not been successful with reaching anyone but the receptionist who has transferred me to about three different people that never answer the phone. I have left countless messages, and no one has answered or responded. It has been over one year, and I am unable to register a vehicle that I pay for each month. I am not sure what to think of this situation, but I need my vehicle to get back and forth to work. I am a TSA employee, and I can't afford to get pulled over and my car is not legit. I don't understand how the car was registered without the title number in the first place and how i was able to obtain insurance without all of the information.

      Good Morning,

We would love to help resolve this situation but we have no pending title work from 2021.  I also can't find a customer in our system with that name or address.  Is there a possibility that the vehicle was purchased under a different name.  Can you please provide us with the year, make and model of the vehicle and the vin# so that we can properly assess and resolve this situation?

      Thank you,

      Peter

We write to you regarding the 2021 4x4 **** ***** ****************** that we purchased at Concordville, Nissan, dealership on July 29, 2022, VIN: *****************. Unbeknownst to us, the manufacturer, **** ******** Automobiles (***), issued a safety recall (***) for this vehicle on July 28, 2022. FCA then issued a stop sale several days later on August 4, 2022. *** issued the stop sale because they did not (and still do not) have a solution for the safety recall. As stated on ***s August 4, 2022, *** recall document, some ***** running tail lights never illuminate due to broken parts being installed during production. Without question, *** identifies a serious safety concern that puts my and the lives of my wife and children at risk, as well as the lives of other drivers. Pennsylvania state law requires car dealerships to disclose any open recalls on all used vehicle sales. While Concordville Nissan salespersons did provide an open recall form that was signed on July 29, 2022, recall *** was not listed on that form. This is a violation of the law. Please reference Pennsylvania state law 2018 Act 59. The open recall form we signed is from *****, and by law it should have come from safecar.gov, which is now the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). If you go on the NHTSA website, *** is listed as unremedied as of July 28, 2022. Taking all of the above into account, we are asking for an expedited refund for this vehicle for the total sales price of $58,226.88. This price includes third-party warranties we purchased at the time of sale.

In response to this customers complaint, we looked into their complaint and we followed all procedures that are set up by all parties. When you go to NHTSA site it has redirected us to the recall site. We printed out the recall sheet that the site provided to us and had it signed by the customer. I also went on the NTSA site again and it directs you to the same site that it did when they bought the car. I believe the recall that came out the same day that the customer bought the car and the website wasn't updated.  The stop sale I believe came out on August 4th, 2022.

This is the second time that my car purchased July (2017) ***** would not start due to battery issues. The first time was October 14,2020. The car was taken to Concordville Nissan and a diagnosis was done for $139.00 plus tax. A battery test was done and failed due to battery voltage too Low. Battery was charge and still failed Load test, the battery was replaced with a new battery. Now I couldn't understand why the car needed a new battery in (3) yrs. Concordville Nissan didn't run any other test to see why a fairly brand new car's battery ran down. This first experience of battery concerns cost me a total of $254.39. The car wouldn't start for the second time 1/7/23. My car was taken to Concordville 1/10/2023 and I was informed (again) that it was the battery and needed to be replaced (again). I informed that battery was replace 10/14/2020. They kept the car this time preformed (Paraitic draw test) and discovered "Brake Switch" was original problem all along. The Tech: readjusted brake switches. On 1/12/2023, I paid again for same problem to be address $249.62. I complained to the manager about paying for the same issue and cost and money for using another persons car and was told "that the way it goes, we have to start somewhere"

Thank you for allowing us to respond to ****************** complaint. On October 14, 2020 we did run battery tests and the battery test's failed so we did install a new battery for a car with ***** miles on it. Batteries can get low on a multitude of issues, especially with all the electronics that vehicles are equipped with these days. On the visit on 1/10/2023 the battery was tested and failed the brake test again, once they did the paraitic draw test and we adjusted the brake switches. I don't believe we misdiagnosed anything during her visits, but I would be willing to give ************** a $150 credit for future services here since she is a great customer of ours. Please let me know if this is acceptable.
