Last year I reached out to Southern Management Property Rentals since most of the rentals in my area use them as a property management company. They tag their rental homes with their logo on it and went directly to their website to see what was available. Over the course of the year I called about 27 rentals in which 25 of them were already rented less than an hour after being posted. I started to think this was a fake company stealing peoples application fees foe properties they did not actually have. When I would speak with someone they told me to apply for any rental to get my application on file. I began to watch their site like a hawk because I felt like they were a scam. Doing this I caught a property posted and called within a few mins of it being posted, I was advised the rental was available and they would add my application to it. I never heard anything from them after that I called and reached out a number of times with nothing after they took my money. Finally after me calling back to back to back they advised the property was rental and my application would be on file for a year. About 10 months later I seen another rental within mins and reached out, they did the exact same thing. I am still waiting on someone to get back to me to this day regarding the rental. The most recent activity was them sending me a copy of someones credit report because it was not mine and was dated for almost a year ago, I have been reaching out to these people and no one can help me or call me back. I would like a refund for both my husband and I application fees as this company seems to take your money and than give you the run around and than disappear after.
