I solicited Sandra J****** at The Open Space Venue, located in Glenside, PA to host my 50th birthday party. Sandra, could never seem to get the date of my event correct, which was Friday, 9/2/22 from 7:30pm-12:00am. Sandra did not keep accurate records of events between the two of us, and had a verbal altercation with my daughter in front of my decorator stating I had not paid for the space which allowed them to enter to decorate at 3pm. I had several conversations with Sandra about this, as well as paid her for the time, and she decided to call me the week before my event saying that she had someone pass away and would be using the space for their repast. In total shock and confusion, I reminded her of the text, conversation, email and payment that had been made. She continued to "slander" my name and told my daughter, and my caterer that I had not paid for the time, but I was the actual client and she was doing this behind my back. The week of my party, Sandra sent me a text saying she would have the people out in time for my decorator and she would see my on Saturday, 9/3/22 for my event which was not my date/time. She gave me unnecessary anxiety and on the night of my event, she turned the pilot off in the kitchen (said I didn't pay for that), and I was told she did something to the WIFI, which prevented the 360 booth I had to produce pictures of my guests. When my daughter arrived, it was chicken bones and macaroni on the floor that my daughter and friends cleaned up, this was before my event was to take place. She also had a bar set up, knew I had a licensed bartender and had her daughter break down and remove the bar so I couldn't use it. She also said she couldn't find the contract/agreement the week before my event, but was paid in FULL prior to my event. She was unprofessional, rude , and clearly confused the entire time. It was a HORRIBLE experience and I will NEVER use nor recommend her to anyone I know. I am attaching the blank rental agreement.
