            On March 28, 2023 Pennsylvania State Police in Greensburg charged Mark Loughran, Owner of ML Plumbing, with Deceptive Business Practices and Receiving Advance Payment for Services and Failing to Perform.

            Hired ML Plumbing to replace a piece of broken sewer line on November 12th. Dug up and replaced the broken line. Told me he cleaned out the remaining sewer line. Line clogged back up in approximately less than 2 weeks. Unable to get ahold of Mark L******* so I hired another company to come in and hydrojet the remaining line for $600. The other company said that there was no way that Mark cleaned the remaining line. Contacted L******* and told him what the other company did and that there was no way he cleaned it out. He told me to send him my address and he would send me a check for the $600. That was 3 months ago and still waiting. He also was to come back and reseed the area that was dug up and he still hasn't returned to do that.

            While we appreciate that the owner came out to our house for an emergency situation and did resolve it the next day, he then told us we needed to replace nearly all of our sewage lines, telling my husband that if we didn't resolve it our issues would keep happening. Quoted us $6,000 for the work which would require digging up our garage to replace piping. We are expecting our first child soon and this was obviously a huge concern and if this was a necessary repair we needed to figure out our finances to pay for the work.I wanted a second opinion and called another company who specializes in sewage repair and replacement. I had used them before when they were also doing general plumbing work, so I felt confident getting a quote from them. When they came out to check the lines and give us an estimate, they found no issues whatsoever and gave us advice on how to maintain the lines without having to replace everything. Not only did I watch the camera in our lines live, but they also provided us video as well. I'm so glad we didn't make a rash decision on this project.
