When installing a new dryer, the Liberty Transportation crew unseated the drum in my previously perfectly functioning washer, rendering it non-functional--probably when they climbed on top of it to install the steam line for the new dryer--and cracked the pan the washer sits in to prevent floods. When I called Liberty Transportation and spoke to the man in charge, I asked, "so even if you came into my house and broke my perfectly functioning washer, you're not responsible and will do nothing about it?" He responded, "yes, that is what I'm saying." The new dryer they installed was defective (broken lint trap), and when they came to haul it away, they left the steam hose LEAKING, hanging over the side of my recently broken washer. The leaking steam hose slowly filled my broken washer until it spilled over the side, into the washer pan that would have contained and drained the leak, except that they had also cracked the dryer pan, so it flooded the laundry room and leaked down through the floor into the kitchen below, causing significant water damage. We submitted a claim for the damage and they denied all liability. They investigate claims themselves, so I doubt they ever admit fault, after having dealt with this company. They even said it was our fault and that we had instructed them to leave a leaking hose hanging over the side of the broken washer, which is rather incredulous.
