I had this company come to service my motorhome. They claim they were experienced that they would come and help they gave me a price upon arrival they could not get the job done, and therefore I had to help and assist them throughout the entire completion of the issue upon closure. I asked what the price was. They gave me one price being $950. I went to go get the monies when I went to give it to them. They gave me a new price stating it was more that they forgot to add, a tire when I had it up, he had it included after that I inspected all the things the weights for balancing the tires fell off. He said he didn't matter. It would be fine. Wouldn't even be able to notice it, but I told him if I don't notice that the vehicle will still notice it and it'll cause bad treadwear and all other issues , he said he couldn't help him and he keeps changing the prices. If there would be any issues that I told him I would want him to cover it and fix the issue that I asked for a receipt he refused to give me a receipt and the money.Business response

Customer called my business on 07/27/2024 for wanting service for one or two tires for on his motor home. I told him I had one or two of the tires of the size he needed. He asked me for the rates. I told him there was a $100.00 call out fee for a weekend call out and a two (2) hour minimum of a $135.00 hour in labor. Mileage was $ 2.00 a mile from port to port. He was told a 2 hour minimum Should be enough time to change and put on ONE tire on his motor home. When myself and my mechanic arrived he had two (2) flat tires on the left side of his motor home. He had just had his spare put on by another company on the left outside of his motor home. Both left rear and left outside tires were flat. My mechanic pulled both tires off. The left inside valve stem was broken so my mechanic replaced the valve stem and aired that tire up. Which was the customers tire. My mechanic installed the left outside tire with a new tire. Then we went to the right side of his motor home. The customer said the inside tire on that side was as old as the tire on the left inside tire that had blow earlier. My mechanic pulled those two (2) tires off on the right side. The customer wanted the right inside tire replaced with a new tire. My mechanic replaced the right inside tire. The customer wanted the third (3rd) tire that I had on my service truck also put on the spare rim to mount on the back of his motor home. Which my mechanic did. My mechanic then went back to the right side of the motor home and put the right outer customers tire back on. I noticed that the right outer customers tire had weather checking on it. Customer had us pull that tire back off on the right outer side and take the spare tire back off of the motor home and install the new third (3rd) tire on the right outside tire position. Customer wanted that weather checked tire taken off of the right outside tire position and mount it on the back of the motor home for a spare. And while my mechanic was mounting the third (3rd) new tire on the right outside the customer asked how much was this going to cost. I told him around $1,300.00 to $ 1,400.00. I originally quoted him a 2 hour minimum $135.00 hour labor and a $100.00 call out fee and ONE tire. Customer only wanted to pay the 2 hour minimum $135.00 Hour labor and the cost of three (3) tires. A total of $ 950.00. He did not want to pay the two(2) more hours of labor over the 2 hour minimum of $135.00 hour and no mileage. Customer would not pay the $ 1,346.20 total with tax. Customer asked for a price after two(2) tires were put on his motor home and at that time I gave him a price of $950.00. Then my mechanic put on the third (3rd) new tire that changed the price. Customer wanted a receipt after he said he didn't want a receipt. He said he couldn't pay that much. Customer would only agree to pay $,1050.00 and no receipt. I agreed to give him a receipt if he paid what was the total price. Customer called me three (3) hours later and said they have another flat tire on the left rear inside of his motor home. I said are all the other tires okay. She said yes. The left inside tire was the customers tire and we can't guarantee your tire being good. I said all the tires I put on were okay. Customer paid me $1,050.00 and the total amount for my service was $1,346.20. We got the job done with out the need of the customers help. Customer owes me. When the customer pays the balance I will send him a receipt.
