            Checked into the Red Roof Inn in the late evening of 5/28. My family just got off of a 20 hr ride from Houston, TX. We checked in and went to our room to find complete filth. I went to the front desk to make a complaint and received an apology and a room change. The bad thing about it was, the room that we were offered, was not a secure room. The manager stated that the door locked from the inside but if someone were to walk by and push the door, it would open. WHO WOULD MAKE SUCH AN OFFER! The manger also went from room to room trying to find clean towels to give to my family. Looking at the towels, they were filthy too! I chose this hotel because i receive discounted prices for VETERANS as well as I’m from the area and I am so disgusted that we got off of a 20hr drive from Texas and could be comfortable. We then had to pack up to try to relocate elsewhere. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and I will be calling the health dpt as well. I never received my refund either! PISSED VETERAN OF AMERCIA!

            Dirty, dirty, dirty! When we walked in the front door, there was a woman in plain clothes and slides working the counter. 6:00 pmrooms were not ready. We had to wait in one room for another. When we entered the first room, it was freezing. We could hear everything that was going on outside. Dogs were running amuck and barking. Straw and food crumbs on the steps and in the room. One clean towel and a dirty, wet one in the bathroom. No other towels. Sink was filthy. Tub had mildew and mold. No fridge. No toilet paper. Blood stain on the carpet. Peep hole in the door was stuffed with tissue. Stains in the comforter. When we went into the second room, it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I asked for a different room. They gave me a room in the complete opposite end of the building on a different floor. Turned the bathroom light/fan on and it was ridiculously loud. No towels again. People were hanging around outside for about an hour while we searched for a new hotel. As we were trying to leave, an ambulance and police officer arrived. The people from outside scattered and ran.
