The only reason we rate them with 2 stars is because our puppy has taken our heart. Barnic Dobermans, on the other hand, has taken us for a ride. When we picked up the pup he was handed to us (literally) and we didnt realize until we got home he had severe bowing of the legs. we contacted our vet and upon examination, she diagnosed the puppy with rickets. *********************** insists (even after receiving the vet exam notes) that its excess protein and we need to reduce his protein intake. The vet stated this is likely congenital or due to improper diet and a severe lack of calcium, vitamin d, and/or phosphate.The puppy has now seen two veterinarians with the same diagnosis and projected prognosis of orthopedic surgery and a lifetime of pain from arthritis.We filed a complaint with the state of Pennsylvania under the Puppy Lemon Law. She told us to return the dog for a refund. There is no way I would willingly put anyone in the care of this person, let alone our adorable little dobbie. She has refused to take any responsibility and has been aggressive in communications. This beautiful little guy was to be our daughters service dog.***************** has told use she has retained an attorney and is going to come after us if we dont withdraw the complaint.

This person didn't get a puppy off of me . She was referred to me by someone and she got a hold of me and I told her at the time I did not have any puppies at all . She asked me if I knew anybody that did so I referred her to someone that did have puppies . The person that sold her the puppy has no interaction with barnic Dobermans whatsoever. I am the owner of barnic Dobermans and I've been the owner for 39 years . And if she would listen to everybody the puppy's legs would get better . Oh she has to do is lower the protein in the dog food . I've been breeding a long time and I know what her puppy has . She's ready to put the puppy through surgery and all this stuff and all she has to do like I said is a lower the protein . And the top it off the vet that she used isn't even a regular small animal vet . He's a vet that comes to house calls for farm animals . So you think she'd get a regular vet to treat the puppy . But then she left the review I had to reply . She's totally going after the wrong person . I think she's one of these people that expects to get everything for nothing . He was told to bring the puppy back right away and she would get a full refund . But they said she doesn't want to do that she wants to keep the puppy and get a full refund and even get a refund for the *** papers . And as for getting a attorney , I don't need to get an attorney unless I want to *** her for getting me involved in something when I had nothing to do with it except for refer her to someone else . I haven't had a litter of puppies in a year so I don't know how she thinks she got her puppy off of me .
