Additional Information for Ace Publishing Services

On June 21, 2024, BBB of Western Pennsylvania requested that the business substantiate, modify, or discontinued its advertised claims on the business’s website and social media pages to comply with the BBB Code of Advertising. Below are the outstanding challenges which can be found at https://acepublishingservices.com/ and each challenge below is referenced by its corresponding BBB Code of Advertising Principle. 

Challenge #1 -  Refer to the BBB Code of Advertising Principle #1:  Basic Principles of the Code

The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

 “Award-Winning Ghostwriting Services:”    Please provide the names of awards. 

45 Amazon Top Seller”    Please provide names.

“The following are some of the industry leaders who use our service regularly.”   Please provide addresses or URLs for the names on the list.    

Challenge #2 - Refer to the BBB Code of Advertising Principle #9: Sales

“Get Up to 50% Discounts On Premium Book Services”

The clock on this “limited time discount” resets every time the page is refreshed.  Time limit sales must be observed.  For example, products or services offered in a “one-day sale,” “three-day sale” or “this week only sale” should, as a general rule, be taken off “sale” and revert to the regular price immediately following expiration of the stated time.

As of August 1, 2024, the above issues remain outstanding in the BBB’s request for revision, clarification or modification.
