I called the week of 8/23/21 and told **** I had nasty water coming up out of a pipe. They made me wait a week. Showed up on 8/30/21, ****** saw the raw sewage on my basement floor. He broke his snake off inside my sewer pipe and left it there. I handed him $575 in cash and had a verbal agreement for this place to come back and dig up my yard. I never received a receipt for paying ****** on 8/30 and none of them (*****, ****** or ****) contacted me. They left me with raw sewage on my floor and I was unable to use my facilities for over 3 weeks. I ended up hiring a different company to come in and it was filed as an emergency. That tells you how those Barbers who are licensed, left me living in my house. I would like my $575 back.Business response

Hello,
We did receive a call approximately 8/23/21 and advised the customer we were very backed up. We offered our first available date which was 8/30/21 but understood if she wanted to try someone else.
During the that visit, a tech worked for hours trying to clear the clog. It was determined that there seemed to be a break in the line which would need dug up and repaired. The snake was stuck in said pipe break.
For the time and machine usage 08/30/21, there was a $575 charge which a handwritten receipt was issued and with no promise of when we could return. The tech did mention we would return to place white flags for a *********** request, this would be to mark the area for dangers and underground piping, again with no promise of a date they would be placed.
The customer asked if we would offer a discount for a cash payment and seemed disturbed when we declined to offer any discounts.
09/02/21 ******* County / *********** was in a state of emergency due to flash flooding. It was explained to the customer that this would set us back weeks, again they were welcome to call someone else.
We did return to place the flags and paid for a *********** marking to take place.
Emails on 09/08/21 and 09/13/21 were replied to the same days and the only request the customer made was to give them 6 days notice because they wanted to pay in cash and needed time to get the money out of the bank.
As my previous records shows, I do not do shabby work, but I do run into a customer that wants to get discounts or favors for cash payments and I do not work that way.
I have records of all email transmissions and my phone calls are recorded if needed.
