Their work is far from being that of professional engineers. They are careless and their work lacks quality. Worst of all, they didn't put the lid back on our used septic tank...our toddler came within feet of it. We were told several times during sales "5 hours of crane time is included in set up" and without discussing it with us, changed the type of set up and charged us $3,500. She also quietly increased several connection fees.Owner seemingly made up a policy after we leased a fuel tank even though ridgecrest does not provide a tank. I had to hire another contractor for hvac after ridgecrest was supposed to "do it all." They installed the furnace roof vent, which leaked.Warranty service was dragged out for months with many issues unresolved. I have asked for copies of paperwork I was told I signed and was ignored. I've asked about scheduling and was ignored. I had concerns about our basement that were never turned over to the sub contractor. After 8 months I found out directly from the sub contractor that they were never made aware of the issues.We are left with a leaking basement door (they gave a few sloppy and ineffective attempts to fix without ever resetting it as they originally said they needed to do). We also have an unsafe deck due to leaning steps and a heaved floor. After the third time of trying to get this taken care of, I was told to "put a level on it," yet months prior I had sent them photos where the end of a level is shown raised off the center of the deck due to the severity of the heave. We have had issues with both toilets since day one...and were told to just buy new ones days after moving in.We also discovered that ridgecrest did not complete part of the job, as they did not install ventilation for our stove. They have not called to come look at it as they said they would. The manufacturer did look at it and confirmed it should have been done by ridgecrest. I have since told ridgecrest this twice, and they have not responded.
