We placed an order for a cabinet on 2/27. Our payment was immediately processed and the website said 4-6 weeks for delivery. After no product and no communication we began to contact the company at week 7. They assure us weekly that it will be "one of the next items to ship" It has now been 12 weeks. How do we go about getting our money refunded?Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/05/31) */ We have been in communication with our customer, who is unhappy about the delays with their order. We acknowledged that their order was misplaced and therefore delayed, since everything is built to order. We also promised a partial refund plus a ship date the week of June 6-10th, with delivery by the following week. They agreed to this, so we will follow up once the order has been successfully delivered.Initial Complaint

Order ***** was placed on 05 October 2021. Order included two touch up kits for Aristokraft cabinets, and the order total was $89.00 including shipping. Due to supply chain issues, the order has been delayed multiple times. On 04 April 2022 I contacted Highlands Designs customer support and informed them I no longer wanted to wait for the items and I requested a refund. Customer support responded and said that the items had now shipped and no refund was possible. I requested tracking information but Highlands Designs will not provide it. Six months after I placed the order, as soon as I tried to cancel, the order, the items supposedly miraculously shipped, even though no proof of shipment has been provided. Highlands Designs website still show the order status as 'In Process', with no shipping information.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/07) */ Customer placed an order in October that, in normal times, would have been delivered within a few weeks. However, severe supply chain disruptions resulted in months of delays for Aristokraft products, which are normally stocked in distribution warehouses. We previously informed customer of the delays and posted a notice on our website. On Monday, customer requested a refund, but we were told by our distributor that the order had already been shipped via UPS Ground (Tracking # ******************). We do not ship these products ourselves, so we did not receive the tracking number from the distributor until Wednesday, which was forwarded to the customer this morning before we received this complaint. This was an unfortunate case of supply chain delays, but because the customer did not request cancellation until after the product was shipped, we were not able to cancel the order.
