I noticed that my desk was collecting an inordinate amount of dusk particles on it. I contacted the builder’s sub-contractor Gregg from R.J. Stasco that installed the vent system to check what was going on and if he could resolve the situation. He took off the vent cover and both him and I reach down into the duct and could feel a large amount of debris. He said the only way to resolve the situation was to have the duct system cleaned. I contacted a company that had been in business for over 38 years and their price was within the average price range for this service so I hired them. I paid them for their service but then followed up via email with RWS S******* for reimbursement since the situation was created during the build. Chrissy S******* specifically called me and said that they would not reimburse me and that I should feel lucky that they even cleaned up afterwards as a lot of builders do not. The cost of the service was $630.70.
