Boss Contracting (McCullough Boss LLC) performed work on my bathroom during May of 2023. The was not completed to the standard that it should have been by an alleged professional company. I am a senior citizen with mobility issues, requiring the use of a walker. This company left my bathroom shower with unfinished and sharp edging in the shower. The drain installed in the shower sits above the actual shower floor, rather than being even with or under it, as all other drains are, which poses a safety hazard, and the shower door does not function properly, causing water to pool on the bathroom floor resulting in a wet bathroom floor which is a slip and fall hazard - especially for someone who already has mobility issues. Also, the glass in the shower door has defects in it and the caulking for the tile in the shower is two different colors and the edging between the wall and the shower was left unfinished. The work done is completely unprofessional and shoddy -- looking like an amateur completed the job. Once advised of our dissatisfaction with the work performed, Mr. McCullough come to my home and was defensive, talking over me rather than listening to my concerns, and became argumentative. Mr. McCullough advised me that we need to contact the manufacturer of the defective shower door and have it covered under the warranty -- even though they provided the door have the receipt for it. I suppose we are also to pay someone else to install it even though it was his subcontractor who installed a defective door. That was his only suggestion as to how to correct all of the items that are wrong. Additionally, a seat was to be installed in the shower, and that was never done and to date, we have not received reimbursement for that work not performed. We paid $13,000+ for work that was not completed in a workmanlike manner. We want to have the work on the bathroom completed in a professional manner and to receive the services we paid for and have a safe shower/bathroom.
