      On 07/10/2023 I went to Voss TV and appliances and purchased a Kitchenaid Dishwasher (copy of invoice provided) I actually asked the sales man Matt one of the owners if I would have an experienced installer since that had a sign outside "Hiring InStallers" (No experience noted) Matt assured me they had more than two installers 07/17/2023 Two younger man arrived to install the dishwasher Othe leader kind of had a negative attitude from the start advising the water line would have to be modified to a 3/8" connection. I advised him that was Not the line for the dishwasher connection was further back and it was a 3/8" connection. When he had the new Kitchenaid New dishwasher installed he advised I would have to lower the door below because the longer door on the new would not open unless the cabinet door below was lowered Also the front dish washer door is NOT level vertically and that was best they could due as the height legs were adjusted as far height as they could go ( I later searched The Kitchen aid install manual and it addresses this concern and actually has Ski Shims to be used for this concern to gain added height but they never referred the installation manual with this problem) I advised that is Not acceptable I pointed out the several chips gouged damage they inflicted to the cabinet He said they were but I have two photos of original Red dishwasher just before they started install.I called Voos and spoke to TRacy(one of the owners) also requested on the delivery invoice Matt Please call me *** ***** Monday no call tuesday no return call Wed I called again and left voice message for a phone call to resolve shoddy installation poor fit of dishwasher No return call So I called ********* MasterCard and disputed $1099.96. Call ** PA Attorney General and BBB Carnegie PA

      To Whom It May Concern:

      Mr. ***** came into Voss TV & Appliance on July 8,2023 to purchase a new dishwasher.
      His salesperson was Matt *******. 

      Upon delivery, it was apparent that this was not a traditional residential installation.  Because Mr. ***** is in a wheelchair, the very old short tub dishwasher was on a riser cabinet with the dishwasher on top.
      Today, the dishwashers are made with a longer (deeper) tub.  In order for it to work the riser cabinet had to be modified.  The cabinet is made of laminate product which is cracking and peeling because of its age.

      Our first installer was unable to install properly because the cabinet needed modifications.  In situations like this, usually a carpenter or cabinet maker would have to address this problem.  We sent out our most experienced installer to assess the situation. He was able to solve the problem of installing the dishwasher.

      The laminate on the riser cabinet is trying to be addressed by Mr. V***. But because of the age and condition of all the cabinets, we are trying our best to touch up any nicks.

      Our customer’s concern is our top priority.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.


      Mr V*** did (after a week and one half  ) from initial installation call me and arranged to visit my home another week later to inspect my complaint of poor unlevel  dishwasher installation And dep gouge and veneer damage to right vertical opening edge and veneer removal as well top horizontal area of veneer overlay. 
      I accepted his offer to send a second more experienced crew that did correct the poor installation. 
      Which has been completed.
      I Am Looking For V*** TV and Appliance To Make Good On His Promise To Send One Of His Wood Repair Workers To Complete What He Verbally Committed To Correct to the Cabinet Opening.
      I have been patiently waiting and have not pushed Mr V*** on this issue due to my scheduled pending  hospital operation that is now completed.
      On 08/14 /2023 I text messaged Mr V*** advising I had completed my left hip replacement and was inquiring of what his schedule was for that promise to send out a wood skilled word to attempt to make good on the FRESH damage to the cabinet opening ! 
      I have not had a response as of todays date 08/24/2023
      I also still have a hold on the Synchrony Credit Card payment that I made on the 3rd day as required by law because of the faulty installation and careless insertion to the adequate size standard opening.

      At that time of Mr V*** Mr Rick V*** Owner vist and inspection indicated he had a worker that would come and address the deep gouge es to the edge of cabinet opening and wood veneer chipped pieces we had collected when Ist crew left with out cleaning up.
      In  his response he kind of indicates I am an invalid in a wheel chair that requires a special installation  of the dishwasher. That is not the case I recently encountered a hip problem that began in April 2023 that was corrected this month Aug 7th 2023 
       The raised platform installation was originally conceived and completed when I built the home in 1976 47 years  ago at age 36 at suggestion of the contractor. Because it is next to my sink and on same level as sink. At the time I was an unmarried bachelor and would use the dishwasher more than an oven.  It was a novel idea not a physical requirement and many friends and relatives have since admired the novel and practical idea.
      The original (red color dishwasher photos)  is the same size as the new washer purchased. that has a longer door NOT not a larger size over all. Dishwashers are all a standard size to fit into a standard size opening !
      The damage to my raised dishwasher was caused by inexperienced and uncaring non professional workman !
      That appeared to be in a rush to install the replacement. There is no normal wear and tear that I am concerned about. The photos submitted of the original Red dishwasher in place shows there was No gouges and chipped veneer to the wood cabinet opening on the day of the installation.
       Mr Rick V*** at the time of his visit indicated he was going to send one of his wood skilled wood worker to try to improve on the damage done. My wife collected the damaged wood veneer that the ist crew chipped off due to there unskilled carelessness.on her clean up since the V*** workers never attempted to even consider to do.
        It did Not require any modification for installation by Mr V*** Second But more professional crew!     
       I have had a professional franchised HandyMan Service visit and confirmed the damage was done by the workman installing the dishwasher in a more than adequate cabinet opening size. And complete an estimate of repairs.      
      I Am Looking For V*** TV and Appliance To Make Good On His Promise To Send One Of His Wood Repair Workers To Complete What He Verbally Committed To Correct to the Cabinet Opening.
