I booked a package with Friendly Planet. We had difficulty getting home due to flight delays. I was told by Friendly Planet that it was my problem to get a refund from the airline, despite the fact that they had booked the flights. I spent a lot of time obtaining a refund, which was sent to them. They have said they will refund the funds to me, but it hasn't happened.Business response

Departure-********* Havana -6/16/23 to 6/20/23.
We are writing to you in response to ***********************************, her flight from Havana to Miami was delayed.
********* did not call Friendly Planet or our emergency line when she was told about the delay , she took it upon herself and purchased an entire new ticket.
According to ******** Airlines she used 3 segments of the ticket and did not use the last segment of the ticket and they processed a refund for the last segment to Friendly Planet.
Friendly Planet received a refund in the amount of $126.91 per person a total $253.82, which we processed back to ********************************* credit card ending in ****.
Please see attached credit in the amount of $253.82.

As an expression of our regret for the inconvenience for the hotel, we will issue a refund of $150 per person, as well as a future travel credit of $100 per person which you can use toward any Friendly Planet tour booked within two years from today. To redeem your credit, simply call us at when you're ready to book your next tour and let your Travel Specialist know that you have a future credit on file.************ *Please allow seven to ten days for the refund to be processed on the credit card you used for your final payment.As an expression of our regret for the inconvenience for the hotel, we will issue a refund of $150 per person, as well as a future travel credit of $100 per person which you can use toward any Friendly Planet tour booked within two years from today.
