Our child has been unable to attend daycare, Chesterbrook Academy since August 31st and we continue to be billed for this. This entire time is related to the child being in quarantines, back to back after an exposure at daycare, and then a significant exposure in the household. I am an RN and have been working the front lines since the beginning. ***************** offers a 10% discount with this company. We currently pay $241.20/week. They refused to refund ANY portion of this quarantine time. It will be a total of $723.60. At this time, based on the CDC he is able to return to daycare on 9.21.21. Not returning parents for quarantine times, encourages bad behavior of sending their children to daycare despite a COVID-19 exposure. They need to re-write contracts for pandemics and quarantines. I am asking for morally and ethically appropriate behavior. Not charging parents if they are unable to send their children related to COVID-19 illness/quarantines.Initial Complaint

We sent our child to Chesterbrook Academy on Northpointe Blvd. There was a lack of staffing situation where our child was put in a class with a COVID positive child. We were then told that we could not bring ***** back for 10 days. We were not offered a credit or refund for the tuition paid. Our daughter went for one day and there was a new case of COVID which she was again not allowed to attend for another 10 days. A family that we are personal friends with, contacted the regional administrator to voice the concern over this as well as their child being bitten in the face. They were refunded the week of tuition due to the COVID closure and immediately withdrawn with no four week notice needed. We contacted the school and said that we would also like a refund or credit and they told us that we were not entitled to one. We then asked to terminate our care with them. She said she will need 4 weeks notice regardless of whether or not we come, or they are or not open due to quarantine.
