On November 14, 2022 I bought a gift certificate for my wife for $45.00. I gave it to her on Christmas. She tried to use it in January 2023 and the woman told her she bought the business from her previous boss on December 3,2022 and gift certificates were not part of the sale. She tried to give her a $20 credit when it was $45.00. I was never told by the owner or any employees of the upcoming sale and I told them I was getting this present for my wife for Christmas. All the employees were part of selling gift certificates so Tracy, the new owner knew what was going on.Business response

We bought out **** Nails and changed the name to Tracy Nails Studio LLC since December 2022.
I am sorry to hear about this problem.
I understood you bought $45 gift certificate for your wife on November 14, 2022.At the bottom of **** Nails gift certificate printed
Expires 3 months from the date of purchase. No cash value or refund
However, we can use it in a year and after year we just take 50% of it.
Please ask your wife makes an appointment we will serve your wife with the total value $45.
