      I went to have a vehicle fixed for an overheating problem. From the time that I got there I was called a parts pusher, and just one of those people who dont know what theyre doing. I was told that all parts involving the engine cooling system need to be replaced. Brubakers service man said that he was told everything looks completely operational and its working fine. Thats why I need to replace the other parts. I took the vehicle in four separate times and each time did not fix the problem and they told me the last time to drive it around for a week, and if it still has the problem, bring it back, I spent $2200 replacing parts that did not need to be replaced when I was told that the system was working as it should. The last time I was in there the service manager called me poor and Im just like everybody else that comes in there and cant pay their bill, when I was just trying to hold them to a standard that if its not fixed and you say it is, you shouldnt be paid. So after I left, I took the vehicle to another mechanic and he had the problem fixed in under 15 minutes! Brubaker told me that the fan was running when it should be running and at the speed it should be running from the very first time I had it there. The new mechanic said that there was no low speed fan setting from the fan. It was a dirty connection so he pulled the connection apart clean it and it works perfect now. All of this could have been avoided if Brubaker would not have lied about the low speed fan speed, and I asked multiple different times if the fan was working properly. I honestly feel as they were soaking me to spend more money for such an easy fix that you could visibly see being a trained technician/mechanic. The sheer disrespect from the Brubaker service manager, and argumentative attitude from the beginning was unwarranted. I spent $2200 at brubaker $120 at the new mechanic and this doesnt include all the parts that I replaced prior to taking the vehicle to brubaker. Thanks

      After review, we have determined that the time of 7 months from our last repair order of August 15, 2022 is too long to warrant any refund.  We had instructed the claimant to monitor the condition of his vehicle and to report any changes that may have occurred to the vehicle.  We have no repair orders dated after August 15.  Since we were not given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle, we have to conclude that the vehicle was performing as designed.  Therefore, no refund is warranted at this time.
