I have paid for an appraisal to be completed through my mortgage company and they hired Appraisal Assoc. of Lancaster for the job. I scheduled an appointment on Dec 1, 2021 for them to come out to my property on Monday Dec 13, 2021 to complete it. I spoke with ****** on the phone and she set it up for 9am-1030am. I asked ****** about the mask situation and she said that they would honor the customers request at the home as to wear the mask or not to. When ***** showed up this morning she had a guy along with that we didn't know about. She attempted to enter my house without introducing herself in any way. My wife told her that she wasn't coming in with a mask on, also the fact that we didn't know who she was doesn't help and is highly unprofessional. I called the company this afternoon Dec 13 about 405pm to reschedule the appraisal and ***** who answered immediately became defensive and loud on the phone. I told her who I was and I wanted to reschedule. She asked if it was the property from this morning and I say yes. Her first comment was, "what's going to be different?" I told her she will introduce herself and not just walk into my house without being invited in. (You should never walk-in to anyone's house without an invitation at the door, regardless of the visit). She became extremely defensive about this and said that never happened. Now does not want to do my appraisal and said she has a choice of what she will do. I did say I have a choice whether to let someone in my house or not and no one will just walk in without proper introductions especially when there's another person along that wasn't mentioned. I now am not getting my appraisal done by her because she chooses to call my wife and I a liar and be unprofessional. All their calls are recorded and I would encourage you to listen to the calls each time I talked to someone there. Including the call on December 1 to schedule and the morning and afternoon of December 13.
