I have rented an apartment from this company under false pretenses. The employees are rude and not very helpful, often send you to voicemail or ignore you. I asked for the apartment to be inspected and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t. A lot of stuff was not working properly when I moved in. I have been moved in for over 3 weeks now and still don’t have internet (even though I disclosed in the tour I was a hybrid worker). I’ve had endless back and forth with the company and see very little resolutions in a timely manner. I also have a broken kitchen window they’re aware of which is a liability. My heater started smoking, another liability. And then internet below is grounded into an oil tank which could catch fire. 3 liabilities. This company isn’t just poor at business, they are just plain dangerous.

There are no liability or dangerous items that need to be addressed in this unit. The City of Lancaster requires all rental units to conform to their standards for safety and this property is registered with the City of Lancaster as a rental property and has an approved rental license. This property and this unit went through a city inspection in the Fall of 2023 and passed their rental inspection. This unit has a baseboard heat system and nothing was ever reported to us that there was or is an issue with any of the baseboard heaters. Yes, they can give off some smell when they are first used after not being turned on or were not used for a prolonged period of time, but we were never asked to address this. We always provide a move in sheet to all our residents to let us know if anything is not working upon move in. We have addressed the window that was reported. In terms of communication, we have various avenues open for residents to communicate with us; email, phone, walk in service in our office which is only about 1 mile from the resident's apartment, of course mail and we also have software that residents have access to in order to communicate with us about any items that need attention. I am sorry that the reviewer felt ignored. All our team members check their phone voicemails and emails regularly to address questions or concerns. Hopefully once the resident settles in after his move, he will feel better about his apartment.
