  Clyde added a third bay garage onto our existing two bay garage. He was paid in full, 30K. The garage is unlevel, the roof is uneven with a noticeable "hump" in it, the siding was not installed correctly, the rain spouting is not level and soffit is crooked. Clyde agreed that all of these problems exist and promises to come and fix them, however he never shows up and does not return messages. This has been going on for at least 6 weeks.

  I contracted with this business back In September 2021. Clyde P****** was the least expensive bid and I went with him. Big mistake. Not only did he use inferior wood and didn’t uphold what he was going to do.. left my upper portion of the shed with no flooring as promised, .. charged me twice for the stairs..told me I would get southern yellow pine and then said he couldn’t get it and switched to “ smart wood” But the latest fiasco is that only after 4 months, I found multiple areas inside my shed with puddles of water. ( pics included) This was obviously due to neglectfulness of his construction workers making sure the windows and doors were sealed properly around his slipshod framing work. Also, Section of the wood was inaccurately cut so a whole section had piecemeal blocks of wood. I am not a carpenter, but it was certainly a novice job. Clyde P****** was after his money and not concerned of the end product — building a quality shed for a customer. I couldn’t even advertise for him which I would have agreed had he done a superior job as he advertised. I spent my retirement savings on this shed and he was more interested in the aesthetics than of the quality I received. ( kept telling me to get certain windows) . Very unhappy. True disappointment in a alleged company who is in business for over 35 years. When he knew he did wrong, he did agree to a minimal credit. He emailed me back saying to use my credit to get it repaired. Why would a company do that to a client ? He literally wanted his payment in full and threatened that he could take me to court if I didn’t pay him in full. He knew I was not satisfied. I did not want to file a complaint with BBB and chose to “ move on”. How ever, when I saw water in various parts of the inside of my shed, I have to ask BBB to investigate this problem for me. He “ completed “ this project on Dec 29. This contractor needs to rectify this problem... What he built me didn’t even last 4 months. Please help me. Thank you

  It was communicated clearly ...in the presence of **** 's brother that there would be no plywood behind the knee walls...only between the knee walls of the 1.5 story garage...

  She was not billed twice for the stairs.

  The main reason I was shorted 1700.00 of payment was that she insisted she did not want any warranty.  Therefore we will not be returning to her property.
  
  The "leaks from the 3" of rain appear to be small issues near two exterior doors.  I did not look at all the pictures since most appeared to be of a birthday party.
  
  The 1700.00 will need to be utilized to pay a handyman to check the door and window caulking...which we did on our installation.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  the credit was for the sub flooring which was not completed.
  the construction workers did not properly seal the openings therefore it is the contractors responsibility to secure the openings with or without a warranty.
  the shed wasn’t even finalized until end of December.
  Contractor should make this good since he is in the business.
  I paid him in full. He did not do quality work when a shed is leaking after 4 months.
  If I owned a construction company I would be embarrassed to leave a customers shed with negligence. Not professional at all. I am glad I did get a professional concrete company to do my foundation. 
  Clyde P****** should be ashamed to build such an inferior product that I have leaks in the building now. luckily I did not cover the wood or there would have been mold growing between the walls.
  I will gladly share my experience to fellow homeowners living in my area.
  Clyde can make  this right ot not. His choice.
