      on july 5 2023 I purchased **** decking from 84 lumber in lehighton . The deck size of the deck was 10x28 not being well versed in construction I was assured that between the people at **** and 84 they would be able to order the correct amount of material. The project went well untill I tried to return product not used or damaged. I returned 5 boards,2 boxes of balusters,and a gate hardware. It was then issues arised they took the boards but I recieved no refund I left gate hardware at 84 they told me I also could not return balusters because they were special order. Manger **** ****** on Aug. 24 told me it was the first he had heard of any of this that was a lie, This was my 4th trip to 84 lumber and aithough I did not talk to him I was told by the sales associate ****** ************ he would tell his manager about a refund. It was when I returned the 4th time that Ryan said it was aii ****** fault. How would he know it was his fault if he did not know. The long of it is that i paid 10.101.47 for the **** they ordered but they won't refund the extra materials that THEY ordered. * * *

      Per policy 84 lumber assumes no responsibility for accuracy of takeoffs from drawings or blueprints or that the products in estimates will be sufficient to complete customers intended projects. You can see this on line 4 of the attachment sent, which was given to ************ before ordering these materials. He and his builder reviewed the materials needed and ordered. Upon delivery and start of construction of project it was brought to our attention that my associate, ******, missed the universal bottom rails on the railing system. As a show of good faith and to take ownership of our mess up we ordered the extra material in, ate the cost of material, and delivered to the job site (documents can be provided if need be). After a couple weeks past on 8/19, a Saturday, *********** came in to return some of the material that was unused. We returned what we stock in store and informed him that by company policy, with special ordered material, all sales are final (which is stated directly above the counter where ************ bought his material) and a return check will be issued. ******, being a newer associate, did not know how to issue a return check. He told ************ that he will let the manager (myself) know to issue the check. Come Monday ****** forgot to inform me  that a refund check was needed, which is why come 8/24 when ************ returned, I truly had no clue about that situation. On 8/24 a refund check was issued to ************** address once the situation was brought to my attention.
