On April 10th 2021, I spoke with Kevin Edwards by phone and text. He agreed to do some work on my home for a fee. He told me he needed the money so he could order the doors and get the materials needed for the work. On April 11th he met me at the bank and picked up $3500. to do my living room and dining room walls, the floors in both rooms and remove and replace 3 entry doors. He started the work but did not finish. He said he ordered and paid for the doors but never brought them over nor finished any of the work. I texted and called him numerous times from May thru July. He stopped communicating with me and refused to respond back in any way. He was supposed to show up on May 17th, then he said he was going to finish the job on June 19th. He never showed up, stopped answering my calls and texts and never finished the work. But he certainly took my $3500. My complaint is for theft of services, not delivering what he said he would do. He lied and took advantage of my trust after assuring me he was legit and on the up and up. Trying to help people out.
