The contract is dated 7/21/2022. The phone number for this man is ###-###-####. He insisted on $1,400 in cash to begin the work. I paid him. He than wanted paid again before each of 2 jobs. I paid him with check #****, $2,300 on July 21, 2022 from ********* Bank. 2nd check paid on September 15, 2022 for $2,300, check **** same bank. Large sumacs still remain on the back bank. The front bank is entirely full of weeds. He claimed he sprayed with a “powerful” weed killer! That was over 3 weeks ago. I have tried and tried to get Kyle to finish the job and kill the weeds on my front bank and remove and kill the large greens on the back bank. He refuses. He said he would be here, yesterday, September 30, 2022. He did not come. I must tell you that because I am a widow and live alone, I am afraid of this man. I have now been texting with him so that I have a record of his responses or lack of them. I have paid him $6,000. He denies that I gave him the $1,400 in cash but he has it on the contract. I want a cash return of $3,000 because he did not fulfill the contract and has left me with a huge bank full of weeds. I have pictures! Please advise me on the next step.
